  1. Is there any update on whether the fix will be retroactive or not? I mean seriously starting over would suck for so many people!
  2. Wow this sucks! Confirmed! Do I really have to start over?!?! I can't believe this bug was in the release! I'm so pissed!
  3. Wow this bug is super bad! Wow! http://www.reddit.com/r/projecteternity/comments/30lmx2/psa_doubleclicking_equipment_bug/
  4. Yeah this bug is super bad! http://www.reddit.com/r/projecteternity/comments/30lmx2/psa_doubleclicking_equipment_bug/ wow!
  5. You get at least 3 individual different letters: Page from Vulvano's Travels, they all have different content. BUT, if you put them in your stash they get stacked and when you take them out again they are all the SAME letter. Two are erased! Is there a fix? A bug? Thanks.
  6. Yes, it is normal for only some of the text to VO.
  7. Thanks... you are probably right. And I do believe there are 3 relatively quickly... so I'm good now without needing to make a custom one.
  8. Lol... yeah I went down too early as well... I think everything will be ok now.
  9. http://pillarsofeternity.gamepedia.com/Party Adventurers[edit] The hiring adventurers interface Custom adventurers can be created by hiring them from any inn. These customized party members won't have the same depth of characterization and writing as the companions, but the option exists to prevent players from being stuck with party members they don't enjoy and to allow players to experiment with unusual party configurations (such as a party composed entirely of warriors or healers, which Obsidian stated is something they want to support as much as possible). You can hire up to 8 adventurers, it is the easiest and quickest way to increase size of your party. Todo so you must find an inn - there is at least one in every village and city -- and talk with the innkeeper, he will allow you to recruit an adventurer. Maximum level of adventurer that you can recruit depends on your main character level, it is one point lower. For every adventurer level you pay 250 coins, which means that if you recruit character on eight level, you must pay 2000 for him. The only logical choice is to recruit adventurer on highest level possible. It is better to wait and save some money than waste time and funds on slowly developing your adventurer. When you decide upon a specific adventurer, you will be moved to the character creation screen, known from the beginning of the game. You can pick all parameters of your future ally. Newly created character will be on first level, but you will be able to immediately level up it to the level you have bought.[8]
  10. I can hire an adventurer I just don't want to screw myself out of being able to get all the found characters. I wish we knew if the 8 limit is for ALL characters or just the HIRED ones?
  11. I'm at point where I only have 2 people and I can't do it with only 2. I don't know when I'll get a third. I'd rather wait... no spoilers here but it's not the super beginning but still very early on.
  12. So no problem hiring a custom character or two and still getting all 8 scripted NPCs?
  13. If you have 8 player made can you still get all the in-game NPC companions as well? is the 8 limit only for custom made/hired ones? Thanks!
  14. Yeah I was worried if I hired one at the Inn I would only have 7 slots left or something and would miss out.
  15. I know you can have a roster of 8. So if you hire a custom Adventurer will you still be able to get all the scripted ones? I don't want to miss out because I hire one at the Inn early in the game. Thanks.
  16. It says: "faction" : Ally (Faintly Good) What does the (Faintly Good) part mean? Is that the last change to the reputation? It already says Ally I think it must actually mean that I am "Faintly Good" towards becoming an Ally with this faction. Thanks.
  17. Interesting, myself and four others have put in many hours to the game and haven't had any real major bugs and definitely no game breaking ones. I guess we all got lucky so far?
  18. Yeah MSAA is working, it's just not very strong. But you can see a difference between MSAA 0 and MSAA 8. Zoom in and look at a sword edge, it's definitely noticeable.
  19. I asked this before release... and from what I can tell from playing the game the answer is yes the game is playable on release. I'm not super far but at least so far it seems like it is in good shape.
  20. Thanks, just wanted to make sure. The tutorial text is a bit misleading.
  21. Right at the beginning of the game when you talk to the vendor it says you gained a rank in disposition reputation. I don't see this reflected on my character sheet. Is this a bug? Thanks.
  22. Yeah I think it is only 2-channel stereo.
  23. Yeah for now I'm gonna use my X-fi soundcard's CMSS function. It's better than nothing.
