  1. Seems like things are getting in better shape. Maybe 1.0.6 is the "one" based on this: "We anticipate that 1.06 will be shipping out later this month. 1.06 will continue the trend of adding in new features, balancing existing gameplay, and fixing bugs important to the community." I've waited this long I mind as well hang in there till 1.0.6. And yeah... KS'ed DD:OS, never played it yet waiting for "final" patch, KS'ed Wasteland 2, never played it, waiting for update, Pre-ordered Dragon Age:I, never played it because of "party banter" bug... on and on and on... buy games, never get to play them because they are "broken" products. I KS'ed Shadow Returns took a whole year before I could finally play that one.
  2. I'll be quick.... had to start over because of all the pre-1.0.3 bugs. I've been waiting to play since. I don't have a ton of time these days to game but I was enjoying PoE a lot before I had to stop. I don't have time to start over yet again because of system/mechanics/quest breaking bugs. Can I "safely" play this game now, post 1.05? Or should I wait for another patch 1.06? I don't mind little bugs and things but bugs that break the game systems and mechanics are too much for me. Thanks for the advice!
  3. Fingers crossed this is the "one".... the "one" where I can play a stable game and have a good time.
  4. Sounds good to me, I look forward to finally play PoE, I hear when the bugs are out of the way it's a great time. Seemed so when I played a little bit before bugs shut me down.
  5. Should be something this week you would think...
  6. Yeah I started to play and then had to stop because of too many bugs. I am hoping that 1.0.5 will be the version I can finally start over and play for real with minimal issues.
  7. Yes, here it is: Fixed stacking health problems with the gul's "Vomit Blood" ability. This fix should retroactively fix your saved games. Now... how many more critical fixes are needed to finally be able to have a stable play through?
  8. The game is a buggy mess that is unplayable unless you are ok with systems breaking problems. I love the idea of the game and can't wait to play it once it is stable.
  9. Yeah this game is great in concept but the bugs are just too overwhelming. I am going to put it back on the shelf and come back when/if it is ever stable. Just like: Divine Divinity: Original Sin, Wasteland 2, and Dragon Age: Inquisition. All games I haven't been able to play yet because they are still being "fixed". Really, really pathetic and a bummer... not to mention a waste of money. (I KS'ed DD, W2 and this ... not looking good for Torment with this track record either). Shadowrun Returns took a long time too, but at least after an extra year that got that game stable enough to play.
  10. Wow... this bug is still in the game too? Such a bummer, when will I get to play without these serious bugs?
  11. Ok, bail on Dex and Con and maybe go.... How bad would 3 16's and 3 10's be? Do you really need to have an 18 stat? or should I just give in and go... Mig 16 Con 10 Dex 10 Per 14 Int 10 Res 18
  12. What about these for more Damage than Tanking, Perception and/or Resolve for RP aspect? Or is the 12 in Dex really useless? I guess 10 in Con is the right thing to do, just seems wierd with Con so low. Guess I gotta get used to the PoE stats. Pale elf, Paladin (Goldpact Knights), The White that Wends - Explorer This one kind of "feels" accurate for my RP concept... but I don't want to super gimp my guy either... I'd like to have some in Dex, but like Con maybe it doesn't make sense in PoE stats. Mig 16 Con 10 Dex 10 Per 17 Int 10 Res 15 Oh and is there reason to use even numbers like this, then I get my 12 in Dex. Mig 16 Con 10 Dex 12 Per 16 Int 10 Res 14
  13. Yeah three is no way the game is really fully playable right now. How in the world was it even close to being playable for the review copies?! I love the game don't get me wrong but where was all the mention of how totally broken the game systems are? Maybe after 1.0.4!?
  14. I went: Mig 15 Dex 10 Con 12 Per 14 Int 12 Res 15 Seems ok to me for a bit more damage dealing version. See any real issues with this config? (I'm not a hardcore min/max'er... just want some balance and rp feel for my guy while not being gimped)
  15. Yeah for sure going to wait, although I really wish I didn't have to. The game definitely appears to have too many potentially gaming breaking or corrupting bugs at this point.
  16. Check these for starters: Damage calculation bug [bUG][1.03] Items disappear when dismissing a companion [microrant] Ugh, this happened with Wasteland 2 (They are still patching it, waiting to play), Shadowrun Returns (finally playable) and Divine Divinity (They are still patching it, waiting to play). Oh and I'm still waiting to play Dragon Age: Inquisition because of the party banter bugs, I might not ever be able to play that one. [/micorant]
  17. Looking like I'll be waiting... for I don't know how long before I can have a stable play through. Bummer...
  18. I saw these and got worried... i think I should probably wait, not sure how long. Maybe another patch? I don't think we have an ETA, so not sure when I'll be able to actually play. Ugh, this happened with Wasteland 2 (They are still patching it, waiting to play), Shadowrun Returns (finally playable) and Divine Divinity (They are still patching it, waiting to play). 21. Well you are fine playing games that are broken. That's fine. Some people don't mind riding a broken bike either. I'd rather get it fixed and then ride it.
  22. Well if the bugs break the basic systems of the game then yeah I'm bothered by it. If it's a minor non-system breaking bug then yeah, no big deal. PoE has system breaking bugs... thus breaking the game.
  23. Looks like I won't be playing for a while. I guess I'll just put PoE on the "shelf" for a while (weeks/months?!) and let them get it stable before I attempt to play it again. Ugh, I was so hoping PoE wouldn't be a buggy unfinished mess like Wasteland 2 (They are still patching it, waiting to play), Shadowrun Returns (finally playable) and Divine Divinity (They are still patching it, waiting to play). Oh and I'm still waiting to play Dragon Age: Inquisition because of the party banter bugs, I might not ever be able to play that one. Can I ever buy a cRPG that is stable enough to play without serious bugs that severely ruin the experience?
