There is a chance that this game is KOTOR2. So I thought maybe we could list the little things that bugged us about KOTOR. I know, someone is going to post "teh Combats". Those are big topics, and can be a thread unto themselves. I am talking about stuff more like: While I personally enjoyed it, alot of people didn't seem to like the fact that their NPCs would stop at some points during the game to have a discussion that didn't nessasarily further the plot. It did further char devolpment tho. I HATED how half those info pads in the game were called "Data pad". Not to mention the lack of ability to organize the inventory. The fighter mini game, not very fun. I did enjoy pod/swoop (forgot what they were) racing.

It would be really cool if we could do this without mods. It would allow for a free-er range of speech, assuming would could cool back down after the occasional bitch-fest.

100% agree with that. I'm just saying its kinda like the whole VB/FO3 situation tho. How many clues, hints, and guess work are needed till the picture is pretty clear. I just couldn't fathom it being anything else If we end up actually fighting about this....that would be sad.

Nope, I'd say ignore him if you hate it so much. As going back in forth with him only gets him to say more things you hate. But I can only say what I think. I'm not a mod or your dad. Think about if it is actually helping anything tho.

awww s**t, thought the arguement was actually going to be dropped! Look, we all know doomy (visc). Like him or hate him, its not going to change anything. You can argue with him all day(and, in fact, have), what did anyone accomplish? Lets just chill on this one.

Obsidian will decide how they want this forum run, not the mods. The mods just inforce what they say. Like it or not. Its not about week or strong wills.

Clearly this place and RPGcodex need to be modded differently, but that doesn't nessasarily mean he would be a bad mod here. After all, he pretty much has to do what Obsidian wants him to do, or he won't be a mod long.

Man, that will be weird. SW avatars and quotes in sigs. Having to explain what Fallout is. Debating canon vs. gameplay topics. All in all, I fear for them. We are an "interesting" (see: hostile) bunch. Maybe we should "vote" for mods. Get a few names together (you have to get nominated or something) and then make a poll. Maybe Obsidian will listen? Its an idea.

Everything we have points to that, and I think we have quite a bit. you might be finding out sooner than you think, and no, I havn't heard anything anybody else hasn't. If I were a betting man, and I am, I would be willing to bet Obsidian is working on KOTOR2. If I'm wrong, I am sure this quote will end up in at least two peoples sigs. :D

No "crack down" needed. Don't be dramatic. First, its not that bad, just need a mod to move topics, keep them on topic, etc. Second, who didn't expect this when the forums opened?

Hey, I'll take a KOTOR2 happily, if it improves on a few certain aspects of KOTOR. I enjoyed KOTOR anyways tho. EDIT: If ign is right, and kotor2 is a indirect sequel, it kinda sucks the story won't be continued in some fashion. The lackluster endings of kotor left me wanting.
