  1. I think that would be scarier than the murdering clown...
  2. Makes one long for the days of the NES. Now there was a controller. All those sharp edges on everything. Guaranteed to give you blisters before you managed to tear yourself away.
  3. Because you dislike the topic for it pertains to a real life issue not to your liking? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> How about because it's highly unlikely that you'll get any real answers?
  4. It was already 4:15 when I read it. Does that mean I have to wait another 22 hours now?

That sucks big time. I need to get myself a Koivu jersey. The guy just doesn't quit. He's like the Canadiens version of Smyth, except smaller and not Canadian. He had two goals in the third period to tie the score at 3-3 with Toronto. And Koivu get's the first shootout goal! :joy: Then Sundin scores on the next shot. And Souray totally dekes out Raycroft while Wellwood hits the crossbar. Montreal winnar! Take that Mkreku! EDIT: Hey Mkreku!

Bah! I like CBC. Every other channel has these huge scoreboards across the top of the screen. CBC has a nice little one that doesn't take up any more space than what it needs. TSN shows Canadian teams play as well. It's only Saturdays that CBC has the monopoly on. EDIT: On the Huet/Allstar game thing. CBC just confirmed that the players were named at the end of October, before Huet got on his hot streak. ^_^
  10. I just had the game crash three times in the past 20 minutes. Once when attempting to beat up the first group of thugs that come after Neeshka. Once when the game seemed to lose the textures for all the little icons (quickspell, quickslots, character pictures, targeted item, queued actions and mode bar) during a fight while halping out the watch. And another time while beating up the same thugs as during the first crash, but this time it just froze right after the fight began. Maybe I should roll back to 1.01. <_<
  11. Wishing I had snow. It rained today. We didn't even get the neat freezing rain that we were supposed to get either...
  12. No, you stop!
  13. I don't think I've used Magic Missle more than once in Neverwinter Nights 2. I just find that I've usually killed the enemy before the missles manage to reach the target. They just take so long to reach the enemy that I don't bother with it.
  14. There probabaly isn't any one link for all of those. There are probably potraits from several different portrait collections there.
  15. If your looking for one word that by typing will make you more credible it is: "Eidos" "Interplay" [snip] <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well there goes your credibility. "
  16. Can you imagine what it's going to be like at New Years? Drunken gamers playing Wii. If sober gamers can't seem to hold on to the wii-mote what will happen when you get some alcohol into them? Friends don't let friends drink and play Wii...
  17. It's in the first post.

I do agree that Kipper should be on the ballot. He has had a couple seasons now to show just how good he is so a slow start by him shouldn't disqualify him from being on the all-star ballot. Huet hasn't been a starter for quite as long (not even a full season yet) so of course his reputation wouldn't put him there whatever his record. But how do you justify putting Raycroft on the ballot for the East instead? Raycroft's record through October was even worse than Huet at 5-4-2 with a 3.09 GAA and a .893 save percentage. It's not so much that Huet was left off the ballot, but rather who else they chose to put on instead. Take Ryan Miller for example. His stats aren't so great, but it's because his team can score and score often that he's got so many wins. He has 8 games where he has let in 4 goals! Looking at the people who are on the list for the East and you have: Brodeur, Fleury, Kolzig, Lehtonen, Lundqvist, Miller, Raycraft, Ward Can you honestly say all of those people deserve to be on the ballot? Huet's October numbers are still better than the season numbers of half of the guys on the list. Not that I can do anything but place my write-in vote for Huet, but still. It's the principle of the thing! EDIT: BOOYAH! VINDICATION! :joy:

Huet had a similar start to Kippersof. October wasn't so hot, but he's been great since. He's leading the league in both GAA and Save%. He's still 9-2-2 I believe.
  21. I tend to play them both pretty similarly, so I guess I fit into the first group. It's more of an aesthetic change for the character rather than a real character change.
