  1. If your link led to an actual story instead of re-directing to the main page I might be inclined to believe you.

If this game goes into overtime Mkreku...
  3. I cheated my way through the last two campaigns just so that I could unlock the cinematics.
  4. I'd recommend a new resolution. Why is that? He probably thinks it's obscenely small because he's used to 1600x1200.
  5. No it was boring* and the graphics sucked. *poster has not bother to play more than three online matches so any arguments about multiplayer being awesome will be momentarily be considered and then laughed at derisively.
  6. It is out you dope! It's Warcraft 3!
  7. No I don't take WHoA seriously. It practically screams "Hey! Remember Warcraft 3?"

You jerk! You just had to let Pittsburgh get a point didn't you!
  9. They aren't even trying.
  10. Manual says that the only cheat it gets is double money. I'll have to try out a brutal AI just to see what all this fuss is about. :D
  11. Bah, he only gets double cash. How hard can it be?
  12. I have to agree with this statement. The game isn't lacking in the polishing department. To each his own, maybe I've been spoiled by Starcraft and past C&Cs, but this game came out of the oven a bit early. It's not broke, but you can see the cracks. Still fun enough tho, if only for the FMV (which has issues too). It needs some minor tweaking in a few areas, but overall I think they did well. I'd love to see a "Brutal" difficulty level for the campaign. Something that steps up the difficulty more than just adding an extra enemy unit or two with each attack group.
  13. Yeah. I check the official forums looking for an answer, but none of the stuff they suggested worked for me. Sound acceleration, increasing process priority, updating drivers, none of it worked.
  14. I have to agree with this statement. The game isn't lacking in the polishing department. Unfortunately for me though, I've been struck by the audio/video sync problems so the audio in all the cutscenes (except the ones with the male reporter...) is ahead of the video and it gets worse the longer the video plays. Finished off the GDI campaign last night. Haven't been able to get to sleep tonight for some reason, so a few Nod missions couldn't hurt...
  15. They have some work to do balancing the sides. It takes all of 25 seconds to build a Mammoth Tank now. In Red Alert 1 it took 40 seconds to build a Heavy Tank. That alone shows how much everything has been sped up.
  16. What's so ridiculous about it? The left is from the Silent Storm box and the right is a flipped version of the Sentinels box and a gold bar on the bottom.
  17. The graphics look really nice at a distance, but not so great up close. Probably wouldn't notice it in motion though. Hurray two points! I was reading up on the Antec Nine Hundred recently and hearing about some of the problems with routing wires, namely you need to cut holes in the back plate to hide the wires back there. Before reading about that I had never really thought about where people put the wires. Mine are currently all over the place, but I don't have any airflow in my case at all since I don't have any case fans.
  18. What cover are you talking about?
  19. He's probably got just as many wires, but it looks like he's hidden most of them, either in an empty drive bay or behind the motherboard.
  20. Why Bok, Why!?!
  21. I just finished the GDI campaign. I wussed out and did it the easy way with superweapons. When I saw the Scrin drop a command center (drone control or something) right outside my front door I figured why not and sent an engineer in. Built up to rift generator and fired it and my ion cannon at the same time. Rift generator sucks. Does decent damage but no neat effect that I could tell. Unfortunately the building survived both superweapons, but it didn't survive the drop pod of zone troopers that popped in right behind it. :D
  22. That sounds nice. I think I'll be able to try something like that later this year. Supposedly, I'll be moving out of my apartment between September and November, and go all countryside. Maybe get a porch or something, with a rocking chair. Sounds nice. Almost too nice. And while you are outside, free yourself from cords! Solar-powered DS!
  23. The only problem I have ever had was my wrist going all carpal tunnel and acting up on me after three straight days of Elite Beat Agents with the stupid 2 inch standard DS stylus. I never take them out in public with me, but I'll often take them outside on the deck or into the backyard with me. Sitting outside in a hanging chair playing on the DS is great. I can't game when lying down. It just feels wrong.
