Ya know, you'd be even more dangerous taking 4 levels of warlock instead of wizard. You'd get: -> a weak ray attack (2d6) -> Detect Magic at will -> 3 Invocations (How about any 3 of these: Spider Climb at will, See Invisible at will, something to make you harder to hit at range, make you untrackable AND unscenatable, Shatter at will, +6 to Diplomacy, Bluff and Intimidate, +6 to Tumble, Jump and Balance) -> Damage reduction 1/Cold Iron -> Take 10 on UMD checks That would complement your rogue quite well I'm thinking Edit: added a few details I missed earlier. Oh how I love the Warlock class

^ that won't really work. Sorcerer maybe, but then you'd need to prc some rogue-like classes that gave mage spellcasting levels. If you hedge you won't really be that good with either aspect of that character type. My Fighter-Mage works because there are 2 Prcs that grant warrior level BAB as well as Arcane Spellcasting levels at the same time.

Magic is impressive, especially when you can call down meteor swarms and fight as well as a pure priest or rogue And as a Warlock you can use Greater Invisibility, at will, when you're high enough. Pure rogues are... fodder Figher/Rogues... crunchy fodder

I like either a Warrior/Wizard/Eldritchknight/Spellsword mix or Warlock/Mindbender One is a nasty warrior/mage (the way it's meant to be) and the other a combat unit :D
