Nice to something new reported about the game. They could release this as a cross generation title. I mean the graphics basically look like the show, so it wouldn't really hurt them. It will most probably not happen.

Going to download the Icewind Dale and Baldur's Gate Reloaded modules for NWN 2. BGR hasn't been out for long. I'm also thinking about trying Project Brazil for New Vegas. This is not good for my backlog elimination. However, I did beat Divinity 2: FoV earlier today. I was so happy to not be in dragon form only to be utterly frustrated by the zeppelin escort mission. It got destroyed several times. On my last (successful) try, I just rushed and destroyed everything.

Went back to the Divinity 2 expansion. Haven't felt like there has been much of a challenge. I've used most of the skill books to increase Wisdom and Mind Read. I'm gaining levels at a crazy rate.

Watched Ted. I liked it, made me laugh on several occasions. It didn't hurt that there were a lot of hot girls in the movie.

It makes sense that there is a lot of discussion going on. The game will rely heavily on the UI. A game like this must nail it in my opinion.

Playing games. I've played on my PSP, Nintendo 3DS, computer, PS3 and Xbox 360. I'll play a game on my phone just for fun.

I'm not really sure when this would have been worked on by Obsidian. I'm also guessing pre-Project Eternity, but I don't think it's the canned next generation project we already knew about.
-
I like the fact that you can mark items as favorites for different characters. I'm sure the inventory will work, but I'm not a big fan of what was shown in the video.
-
I can't say I'm sad about them not working on Prey 2 specifically. I'm just sad in general that another project they worked on got canned. Of course, I don't even know if the rumor is true or not. Arkane are good develpoers and can probably come up with a good concept.

Caved and bought the TTG bundle. TWD was worth it.

Platforming and camera weren't great in Psychonauts. Action combat and the strategy combat wasn't great in Brutal Legend. Costume Quest was a lite rpg, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. Stacking's gameplay worked well. Iron Brigade is still in my backlog. While I have bought all but one Double Fine game, the greatest part of their game is usually not gameplay.

I'll support as soon as paypal is an option.

I hope we have quick access to spells like in Neverwinter Nights 2 when you preesed the "F" key. I didn't think about it, but I've used it a lot in Storm of Zehir. That's the only time I don't use the keyboard for spell selections. It's a great shortcut to all available spells and is also not forced on the player. I honestly think there are ways to make the UI both mouse-friendly but still make the keyboard-guys happy.

No work tomorrow. Three day weekend, hell yeah! Was out with the kids for 3 hours in the pouring rain. I've never heard so much complaining in my entire life. Damn, the kids of today are spoiled. Their parents are also stupid enough to not dress them up properly for a field trip.

Ok, I actually lol'd at that one. -
That is true if you are going for a mouse-friendly game. I replayed NWN2 + the expansions for over 150 hours this year (still playing SoZ), so a lot of my thoughts came from there. I don't really mind if character portraits are at the bottom. My biggest hope is that when I select a character, that character has access to a lot of abilities I can choose from directly during combat without having to bring up a menu. Be it a radial menu or a spell book.

In an action MMO where your character has like 3 different abilities that you repetitively spam all the time, this makes sense. But if the Infinity games are anything to go by, PE characters will have many, many spells and abilities to choose from at any given time. In this scenario, navigating through the ability selection UI via keyboard sounds pretty tedious. Maybe so. It was a five minute mock-up of an UI that I think I would feel comfortable using. I'm sure a lot of people wouldn't like an UI like that. I'd love it if there is a possibility to move different UI elements around like inXile showed in their Wasteland 2 video.

So you expect the user to move the mouse to the very top-right corner to select the first character (for example), and then to the very bottom-left corner to select an action for that character? It wouldn't be a game-breaking issue, but surely a UI can be made more convenient for mouse users than that. I'd choose the character at the top right and then use hot keys for abilities. I personally don't use the mouse if I don't have to when I choose abilities.

I liked the idea, but maybe it needs more color. I'd say 3-4 colors would be fine and give the scene some life.

Still playing Okami. Third boss went down today. PlayStation+ is killing me, lol. I can't even finish the games on the service before new ones come out. Resumed my Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One playthrough. It isn't very fun on your own, but I intend to complete it. Then I need to play the new Hitman game. Then Ico HD and Shadow of the Colossus HD. I've already beaten Demon's Souls. I have Kingdoms of Amalur on PC, so I'll skip that one. Oh, and I also need to start Catherine. I almost regret subbing to the service, almost.

I like it when you have as many slots as possible for abilities and usable items like potions, bombs or traps.

Went to the library and saw that had A Feast for Crows. That's what I'll be reading during the weekend. I had enough OT hours to take an entire day off. I'll be home on Friday.

It would also be a problem for them with their EU membership. I'd just like to say that I have nothing against Turks in general. I thought it might be best to say that so no one gets the wrong impressions. -
Segregation is unfortunately not exclusive to only Sweden. And areas like Husby exsisted long before Moderaterna & Co won the elections back then. I usually group people that live in "gettho" areas in three groups: 1. Those that don't give a crap. Turn into criminals or abuse the wellfare system. 2. Those that try but end up with jobs that is usually looked down upon by others. 3. Those that go to school and think about their long term future. Groups 1 & 2 are way bigger than group 3.
