  1. Only because the artist can't really draw faces.
  2. A portmanteau of the words "spoon" and "fork".
  3. :/ I guess we finally reached the non-funny non-video territory.
  4. It's 2 TB, that's like 16 000 000 000 000 bits. Give it some time, man.
  5. Will you be updating us on hourly basis? I'm on the edge of my seat here!
  6. Ahh, that is rookie mistake nr. 1 - Never, under any circumstances, read any comments under a streaming online video.
  7. Yeah, not really looking forward to a sequel. They wrapped everything up pretty nicely.
  8. I wasn't saying that I want anyone to make games like Doom today. Obviously the times and standards have changed. My point is that id is trying to change their "formula" with Rage.
  9. Perhaps this soothing image will help ease the tension?
  10. I expect different things from different games. If that is wrong then I don't want to be right.
  11. Those games are still great, damn it! (No really, go try it. There's something liberating about just blowing demons away and not having to worry about things like plot or boring cut scenes. It's just you, your double-barreled shotgun and a horde of demons.) Sure Doom III and Quake IV sucked, but Rage seems to have less corridors and more buggy racing...
  12. Id made Wolfenstein 3d, Doom and Quake which is are still some of the most fun games to play. Just because their later games sucked, doesn't mean that they couldn't make a good one again.
  13. I just watched Terry Gilliam's movie of the same name. But that's.... completely unrelated. The Jabberwocky episode of Better Off Ted was pretty hilarious as well.
  14. But they aren't very good at FPSes either... They own id software now.
  15. Tap Defense, Jelly Car. Most of the good apps cost money. You could always jailbreak if you want more free apps.
  16. I wouldn't get my hopes up about Caprica.
  17. That wouldn't work even if you WERE Adam Savage.
  18. So if you'll ignore the reality strongly enough, it will change? Good luck with that!
  19. I'm not depressed. It's just some more crazy internet people getting their 15 minutes of fame.
  20. *snicker* Looking at the number of FO3-related threads and the ones I have posted in, you'd see that this is mostly true. Sometimes the irrational hate is just too much and I'll jump in. Not that it usually helps any...
  21. I can see that. Approaching from a completely rational standpoint, you probably shouldn't compare FO3 to FO1/2, because they were designed by different developers with different capabilities. FO3 was certainly an improvement over Bethesda's last game. Obviously I can understand comparing it to the previous games and obviously the writing, humor, characters don't stand up to that. But we'll also have to consider that these are different times and a different developer. How much more could we have expected from Bethesda?
  22. A lazy one? I'm not excusing this review, but most of the time he gets his stuff right.
  23. Oh, of course it could be better. I just tend to avoid the topic because pretty much all previous discussions on that topic have devolved into a very emotional discussions on how FO3 is a personal insult to some people and how it is a very bad game when it is actually pretty ok.
  24. But it really makes you feel like you're playing Diablo again, doesn't it? This isn't the first time he has got something wrong.
