Purkake Posted January 15, 2010 Share Posted January 15, 2010 (edited) Jail breaking your iPhone or iPod Touch is switching the firmware to a custom version that allows you to install lots of free apps developed by the community and do other stuff that you can't normally do with Apple-approved firmware.
