  1. What about the Ford Nucleon?
  2. You think it is strange for people to want to get some important things done before they die? I think it's strange that they are pushing the "oh noes, we have no time" in the story, but it is in no way reflected in the gameplay. As for the game, I really liked the in the Samara recruiting mission and the second Liara mission was pretty clever as well(by Bioware's standards at least).
  3. I have handy chart as well: Replace "File Sharing" with "Copyright Infringement"
  4. You can run Beyond Good and Evil in DosBox? I don't know Beyond Good and Evil Still, I managed to get everything from Master of Orion 2 to the original Tomb Raider to run, so who knows? Heathen! Go to Good Old Games or Steam and become enlightened, it's an awesome game.
  5. Yeah, that was a bad choice. How about: His gift to the world is the prettiest mobile phone.
  6. Yeah, it's pretty funny when at one moment it's all like and then .
  7. The hacking minigame is kind of fun or at least challenging, but I hate the bypass one. In one of the random side-missions I had to do like 8 bypasses in a row, horrible.
  8. I think I posted this somewhere already: Irrational on Rumored X-COM Revival: 'Don't Believe Everything You Read'
  9. There's no way to convey the information and be even more vague. Play the game you bums.
  10. There are no spoilers in my last post, just vague comments.
  11. The Mordin loyalty mission was awesome, some tough choices there. Also nice to hear from the Rachni queen, especially in that awesome manner.
  12. We already have a thread for that.
  13. Oh well, here's hoping that the ending won't suck.
  14. I didn't manage to hit anyone behind cover with the rocket launcher.
  15. AND you can get it in most netbooks and nettops. It does still run two threads, though.
  16. Freedom force is great, but X-COM is pretty much THE tactical strategy game(along with Jagged Alliance 2).
  17. I've been playing since Friday and I'm at the . So far I really like it, certainly an improvement over the first game. Even though the combat plays exactly the same, they have added some little nuance into each of the quests, so that combat never feels boring or tedious. The voice acting is great and most of the characters are more interesting than the bunch in ME1. Speaking of characters I guess Jacob is the Carth/Kaiden in this game? His loyalty mission was really weird as well. I think the best ones are Miranda, Mordin and good old Garrus. As for negative stuff, the limited number of weapons and the total lack of any kind of statistics for the few we get is very disappointing. Most of the heavy weapons suck, I'm pretty much always using the particle beam. The rocket launcher might just as well be shooting folded up paper balls for all it's effectiveness. @GreasyDogMeat: Thane is voiced by Keythe Farley.
  18. His gift to the world is the death of open source software
  19. And it all comes in a convenient DOSBox wrapper!
  20. GOG guarantees that your games work with new hardware and OSs, that's why they have their own installer and launcher.
  21. Lay off the caps lock for a while man, April is still two months away and it might not come out then either.
  22. You can run it on Win XP with a dual core processor and a pretty recent graphics card, though. Dual booting is probably easier than building a whole new rig just for that.

I know, the point was that the Air is exactly the expensive tech toy you'd get to some executive to show off. Also College Humor is already parodying the iPad
  24. If the anti-vaxxers can make even bigger fools out of themselves with this, I'll be happy. It is the single biggest donation towards a single cause ever. CNN
