    Wordless..

I love using big English words where appropriate, its not about coming across as clever its just about vocabulary But what are we supposed to do ?
  2. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3756674/Nigel-Farage-share-stage-Donald-Trump-discuss-Republican-presidential-candidate-learn-Brexit-success.html I see Nigel Farage is aligning himself publicly with Trump.....another " credible and appreciated " endorsement of the Trump campaign
  3. I don't often make soup, but when I do I usually make my own broth, then add a boatload of . We get OXO is a spread format that you use on Toast, I have never ever seen this " OXO In-a-Mug" before. I am always interested how different food products produced by global companies, like Knorr, are sometimes unique to certain countries
  4. Produce the link of Strein saying that or it didn't happen, your word alone is not enough to convince me in anyway
  5. Lmfao! I can't stop laughing lol Dont you love how he is basically completely dismissive of the sport he is commenting on... " this is basically a very boring sport "
  6. http://www.altdriver.com/lmao/the-best-olympic-commentary-ever/ Funniest commentary I have ever seen
  7. I'm not GD, but it's a situation where you have to keep the bigger picture in mind, like how likely is the candidate to actually damage the country. Trump may be the off the cuff talking buffoon with all the social grace of a British soccer hooligan from the 80's, but as mentioned previously in this thread, odds are he'll be mired down in opposition from both factions. Clinton on the other hand is devious, lying and manipulative enough to actually get active damage done over a 4 year period compared to "just" 4 years of the US being in a state of limbo. Gothfuscious !!! Thats a very negative view of the impending Hilary Clinton victory and presidential reign ?
  8. But GD I'm sure you will recognize if there is only the 2 of them to choose then Hilary overall is the best choice, despite some trust issues ?
  9. Meshugger what is your opinion on Trump, your view is unclear and vague Do you support him or not?
  10. And if those things you mentioned are real I might entertain the notion.....but Volo lets be honest, I lived through Apartheid, I would assume you would trust my judgement on what is racism and what is not BLM doesnt want to kill policeman or white people
  11. Dont make the grave mistake of assuming Trump actually understands the consequences of his words Never give him the credit of having to actually be aware of the possible consequences of what he says.....his supporters believe anything he says and will just make excuses for these types of controversies so he doesnt care
  12. Mani its some unexpected good news, Woldan is back and kicking
  13. Ah, you got me there! For every natural lifter its a goal to be able to pick a barbell -weighing as much as the lifter itself- up from the floor, clean it to the shoulders and shoulder press it without any kind of leg drive or jerking, just with raw upper body strength. The thing with lifting is, the bigger you are the harder bodyweight lifts become. Which means a 70kg guy pressing 70 is not as impressive as a 90kg guy pressing 90. I just did that lift, weighing in at 104kg / 230lbs, and I had more in the tank. I'm super happy. And now I'll shut up before people start die from boredom. You were definitely missed so you must have built some real friendships....Mani will be very happy to see you, he reminded me that you had just vanished But when you say toxic what do you mean if you dont mind sharing? Things are very exciting and uncertain at the moment with the US election but since I support Hilary Im happy
  14. Where you been? People were worried, seriously you just vanished Good to have you back
  15. What is your definition of a Muslim apologist? Can you give an example?
  16. IMO, that's different. You didn't cause that situation. I don't blame the child either, but if someone were to cause a situation and then "thoughtfully" spares me the "painful" details of their involvement, well, I have no understanding. Spent the weekend painting the kitchen, fishing and garage drinking. Caught a nice size catfish too! EDIT: Quoted the wrong post, meant to reference the quote about your mom passing. I would say your point from your perspective is reasonable, I understand why you raised it with me even if we dont necessarily agree There are some people who do prefer the truth all the time, even if it may seem harsh to others
  17. But do you blame him? Trump has unashamedly played the " Muslims are going to kll us all " card....and the mayor of London is a progressive Muslim who is also a committed UK citizen IMO we need more Muslims in the public limelight who are supportive to the Western country they live in and are vocal about it, part of the perceived criticism towards some members of the Muslim community is they lack loyalty and don't want to integrate And remember there is lots of misinformation about Muslims from some of Trumps supporters. I watched this week a women walk out of one of Trumps conventions and they interviewed her about what she thought of Trump She honestly said " Trump is right, Obama is a Muslim and he wants to destroy the USA " How can people still be thinking Obama is a Muslim ?
  18. I will never stop being confused why people perceive the most outlandish and emotionally-charged intentions behind my posts, and surely you must understand that from my perspective, when I ask a question and the response may as well be "lol u mad? calm down bro," then I can't help but wonder if it's an attempt to dodge out of the question. Didn't you say you've been banned at a few other message boards? Perhaps it's the way you write and the tone you give off seems emotionally charged to the reader? *Edit* LK, My apologies, I may have projected. It's been a long day --woke up early to catch the start of the marathon. Going back to your question, I'm with her and Hillary Clinton is getting scrutinized just fine in these here message boards =) LK, why would you assume Hilary supporters like me arent well aware of her good and bad? Also you own assessments of Hilary have been consistently wrong so maybe if you made some reasonable comments that were true about her people would care when you ask questions like " so reluctant to scrutinize Hillary? "
  19. Again can you produce links that discuss how she laughed at rape victims?
  20. I see he doesnt mention CNN, he specifically says CBS, NBC and ABC We dont get any of those in SA so I have no idea if they are bias. I just know Trump makes the media scrutinze him....with his new campaign advisors hopefully this should change Bruce, along with the six or seven specific examples of CNN's pro-Hillary bias I've already linked for you in this thread and it's predecessors, let me say, anecdotally, it's not for nothing we call it the "Clinton News Network" in these parts. Yes, many people on this forum who dont watch CNN think its biased but its not as biased as people believe Another example is that Corey Lewandowski is a regular commentator for the Trump campaign on CNN, he is much better than I thought. He knows a lot and does a good job for Trump despite how Trump offends people
  21. I see he doesnt mention CNN, he specifically says CBS, NBC and ABC We dont get any of those in SA so I have no idea if they are bias. I just know Trump makes the media scrutinze him....with his new campaign advisors hopefully this should change
  22. Well done USA for winning the most medals but the UK also did exceptionally well Compared to the last couple of Olympics how did Russia do now that they couldn't just dope ?I wonder if they did as well?
  23. http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/donald-trump-campaign-manager-kellyanne-conway-advises-authentic/story?id=41483593 Again some irony around the Trump campaign, his entire campaign until a week ago had some of the worst polling data any candidate could ask for. This is partly a direct result of his misplaced " I tell it how it is " and " I dont believe in being PC .....that is for the weak and craven. I am Trump...I dont need to be PC " I have heard for months from some Trump supporters how Trumps way is the best way but we have seen several influence Trump inner circle members resign or get fired, people like Corey Lewandowski and Paul Manafort and the person now brought in as the public face of the Trump campaign....a women, Kellyanne Conway Of course this is the right decision and the best way to attempt to salvage Trumps image, just the suggestion that a group of alpha male men could be the best face of the Trump campaign was ridiculous to begin with. I watched her on CNN today, she is obviously good but I think its too late to change most peoples views on Trump But this development raises a more important question , are the days of Trumps " I dont believe in PC " over ? Because Kellyanne is all about PC. I hope its over, the suggestion that being PC is somehow wrong always use to surprise me and it definitely hasnt helped the Trump campaign at this stage
  24. Let me try explain it a different way Lets say when your daughter was 8 she had a puppy that she really loved. You take the dogs for a walk and sometimes you take the dogs into the bush and there is this very high waterfall One day your daughters dog accidently falls into the waterfall and drowns but it takes about 1 minute to drown before the water pulls it under and the whole time you have to hear the dog yelping in fear but eventually it succumbs to the strong water currents Are you going to tell your daughter her dog suffered before it drowned? Wouldn't you actually lie, if she asked, and say something like " your dog didn't suffer, it was a terrible accident but it didnt know any fear before it drowned in the waterfall " The story is just an analogy, the point being many of us do sometimes lie in life so as to not hurt someones feelings
  25. But why should people believe something that isn't true when you say " people's lives are geting worse " ? This is the greatest era of mankind, this is a fact. We can cure more diseases, people live longer, more people are pulled out of living in extreme poverty than ever before, more people are educated than ever before and we recognize the rights of all people and previously marginalized groups ..human dignity matters. And these are just a few reasons why we live in the greatest age of mankind The human race is advancing....not going backwards
