  1. and here's the fifteenth comment of this page, hoping to see more epic dragon stuff on the next page
  2. oh, so you actually can travel between settings, great! thanks
  3. my friend had to borrow my laptop, so I can't continue the two-players run. but I will remedy that soon.
  4. :insert witty comment here:
  5. well, Firefall is coming out at the end of this year, it's basically Tribes meet Team Fortress (and Scott Youngblood is the lead designer). a new Tribes game is also in the works
  6. neato! thanks
  7. Vol named Minsc
  8. that'd be nice
  9. was there ever doubt in anybody's mind about it?
  10. Dude.... installing that game. it's ok, I patched it with everything I could find on the Internet it actually looks nice on smaller screens (can't change the 800x600 resolution for some reason). they say it's a good dungeon crawl, I'll give it a try. the only problem - I can't see any 3-D objects, and all the doors and containers are 3-D, so... I'll have to watch a let's play on YouTube as I go along for the meta-data
  11. NWN2 has a kick-ass ending, don't miss it, it's great
  12. which makes for a big part of its charm I suppose
  13. looks very nice, reminded me of LA Confidential a lot (like everyone had noted already 2 years ago). but is it gonna be PS3 exclusive?
  14. wow, looks promising , thanks. I'm not going to buy a new PSP just for this game though (the old one I gave to my friend and I don't think I'm gonna be taking it back
  15. very dramatic oh, I know what you mean, but Gamebryo is a no-no
  16. my heart is still yearning for a proper D&D dungeon crawler, so I installed the horrible Ruins of Myth Drannor. generated a party and everything seemed to go well. but as soon as the game started the graphics glitched. every model is invisible or transparent if you adjust it to the max in the settings. turns out the game conflicts with Catalyst drivers for Radeon cards... gah, I don't feel like rolling back to some pre-2000 drivers, and I wanted to make a Let's Play of it too
  17. this. the world outside of towns feels dead. even though enemies respawn after some time has passed. still, pretty bad design overall. too bad, because the game had potential. oh well, maybe they'll do it right in Two Worlds 3
  18. wow, you guys make this game look unnecessarily complicated. now I'm actually glad I never bothered to play it.
  19. ooh, great timing! I almost went and got this game but now I'm going to just read this and save some monies
  20. I'll have to repeat myself, Two Worlds 2 is ok-ish for the first two chapters, then it just turns into a mindless hack and slash, it also borrows a lot from The Witcher. It has its moments though, very few it has very bad dialogue, no C&C, a couple of stupid quests here and there. and I hear the last chapter is just awful (that's where I dropped the game too). If you can get it cheap try it, might like it actually. but if you don't feel like grinding through endless dungeons (because that's the only place where something is actually going on) don't bother
  21. I guess he means do dragons act like big lizards or like an ancient race of intelligent beings
  22. I have no idea actually I just thought it was always possible to travel between settings, to me it's just like different planes of existence I dunno, can't you jump from DarkSun to Dragonlance? I summon Volo to the thread
  23. this
