  1. Whatever matey, but I read the majority of reviewers, most of these "professionals" played the game the Wrong way. How are they supposed to be taken seriously?? Don't remember what review said that the game looked like a PS2 game. Seriously, get you **** together man, this game is not Crysis but its on par with ME1 and Dragon Age on visuals.
  2. I'm playing on PC, with kb and mouse. No bugs yet. Game is fun. Graphics are better than the garbage reviewers were feeding at us the whole time. Check my screenshot thread.
  3. LOL, trolling it isn't creative anymore. I won't bother to report you, since you are probably a Obsidian fan in disguise looking for some fun or a completely silly person.
  4. This is teh same problem ME1 had. The solution for this is, before doing the ALT + TAB combination, you need to go to options menu. Its not required to do anything, just leave the game there. Now press the alt + tab combination.
  5. Seriously after reading so much crap in the reviews I expected a technical mess and PS2 game. But the visuals are not that bad, I'd said there are on par with ME1 if not better. More caps
  6. Wow, I'm having a blast right now, the Stealth skill at this point is so good that sometimes it gets overpowered, my lv10 Spy is some kind of shade god with a gay face Some screenies
  7. *Both games have an original concept. Definitely. *Both games feel highly unfinished upon release. Kind of *Both have an abnormal amount of glitches and bugs for a new game. I haven't run into none. So far so good. *Both garner a small but strong community. I'm new here, I hope so *Both stand out with original writing and good story. Yeah, I kind of liked AP more. The modern setting is more plausible sometimes. *Both make the mistake of calculating in a RPG style when it comes to shooting. How is that a mistake?? If the game is an Action RPG it needs both parts: A) The character skills B) The player skills. If the character stats and skills don't have any input on the gameplay outcome, its not an ARPG, and more like a Shooter with RPG elements (ME2) *Both have a very distinct atmosphere. This goes for bloodlines. But AP is kind of good too. *Both could have been larger than live succeses if they were more polished. Agreed. *Both are worthy of cult classic status. Unfourtunaly, this game came in the "Age of shooters" and reviewers who can't play the game for what it is. If this game was to come in the old times, where real RPG's were praised the history will probably different. Do you think that AP will get a list of patches addressing the issues it has, will it have a modding community as strong as VtMB, will it have a sequel, will it become playable after the patches? I hope so. But Obsidian is not keen on doing patches. I hope there a sequel, they'll have my pre oder already.
  8. Watch the Bourne trilogy before/after playing, and you'll be in spy heaven
  9. I just registered to said that this game is getting a lot of unfair reviews its like people were expecting a MGS game or a Splinter cell. Well, you ****, read the bloody CASE, what it says? RPG, what?? RPG, Third person shooter this is not. Fallout 3 has BROKEN combat. Mass Effect shooting is EXACTLY like AP. The gameplay mechanic is the same. The AP AI is pretty poor, but then again, the FO3 AI is just plain stupid. No, ME shooting (the original ME) is not exactly like that in AP - the controls in ME, while nothing to write home about compared to the best shooters out there, are notably more responsive and crisper. The ones in AP are barely good enough that (for me) they don't detract from the game, but that's it. And neither of them compare well with the tweaked controls in ME2. On top of that, AP tries to use the same exact mechanics both for stealth-based shooting and all-out action, and they're not especially well suited to the latter. I don't know what your objection is to the Fallout 3 system, but I never had any major issue with it... Regardless, Fallout 3 doesn't need to be a better FPS than Alpha Protocol to have a "better combat system", it just needs to have a combat system that suits the kind of game it is better than AP's system fits AP... and I think it does. Sorry, but ME1 has exactly the same gameplay as AP, no wait, AP gameplay is more advanced ME1 didn't have tactical critical hits as AP has. And in the other hand, why in the name of zeus, are you tryng to play this game as a shooter, its a damn RPG, Jesus.
