  6. For me it's pretty simple: Narrated sequences over cutscenes IF there is a good narrator. Some good music in the background... and it is like I'm in a state of trance. The BG video in the first post of this thread. It's pretty close to perfect. I would love to see more of this. But if the voice-actor is not as good as the writing is... he/she can really destroy the atmosphere and in that case I'd prefer a cutscene. Anyway, dreams, stuff that happens in your mind should always be narrated.. that's at least how I feel. A cutscene could come in handy if something is about to be narrated that is happening in a completely different location for example. Oh and @Karranthain: Yes, please. I'd absolutely love it. I don't need introductory cinematics for each new region... but introductory narrated sequences... I like the idea of having them in Project Eternity.

  9. Dang it, now I'm not allowed to edit my post anymore, haha. Okay, here it is: Oh, and please launch support for more languages. French, German, Spanish...? I think my English is fine but still... complex RPGs are sometimes kinda hard to play and understand without killing the pace of the game due to using a dictionary. :D
  10. The reward tiers are now all updated. Beta access for everyone who pledges $140 or more. Digital Funpack for everyone who pledges $50 or more. Keep in mind that they cannot update the reward tiers on the right side of the page, they can only add new ones. So for the updated reward tiers have a look at the graphics on the main page. I personally would like a poster as well. Whatever it would look like, I'm sure it would look fantastic, especially when framed. I think it would be a great idea to post the TOP NEWS (like Mac support, Add-Ons) on top of the front page of Kickstarter in addition to Latest News because I think there will be a lot of news in the end and it could be important for new backers.

  12. This is really is a problem. I can understand English pretty fine... but if I don't get everything the subtitles really do not help and so it's hard to follow the storyline as Lestrade already said. Same here. This is a problem, but not a big one. Less priority, if you ask me.

In the meanwhile I finished the tutorial zone and my first missions and I still don't have any problems, since changing the SmoothFrameMinimum (to 20) and Maximum(to 30) (while mouse smoothing is active). VSync ist set to TRUE. The mouse only begins stucking again, when I record a video while playing (so probably if the framerate sinks below 20). I do also own the Steam version of the game. But... why should DRM only break mouse input, and not controller input? That's not the problem I think.
  14. Yes. Doesn't help much. The skipping is a tiny bit less frequent now, but much stronger instead. Want me to upload a video with those settings? Kabraxis must be in the tutorial zone still. Can you tell us anything about whether you're planning to patch this? Or should i take your skipping of that subject to mean that you don't plan to patch it? Yes.. that's right. I'm in the tutorial zone. :/
  15. Thanks again. Just wanted to add: Yes, it was imagination that it still runs smoother with a controller. I'm happy.

It works. o.O I undid all changes in the ini files (most important is this one I think: bSmoothFrameRate=TRUE) and then I set these two SmoothedFrameRate values to 20 and 30 - and it works fine. I think with a controller is still a bit smoother (maybe imagination), but it's fine though. A huge Thank You to you and the youtube user.
  17. Same problem for me here and no effect after changing the ini-files. As soon as I change to controller, everything is fine (well, no, Y-Axis for Movement is inverted, it's not a 360-controller).
