I'm all for a boss in the haze, but I feel like we need to be able to craft a full set of armor that doesn't take damage over time from the haze itself (think hazmat suit). As it stands, a haze boss will basically have a built-in enrage timer, since any armor we wear will take damage over time. I'm actually not against the idea of an enrage timer either, but the broodmother doesn't have one (afaik), so it doesn't seem like something obsidian wants. I could easily be wrong on that though.

Very cool suggestion! I think a slingshot could be cool if you could fire bratbursts, healbasa, and shinobi sneeze (though it currently hides the target [self], so that should probably be modified to blind the target if fired). I do feel that as a pure pebblet thrower, it does get outclassed by the bow, however if the pebblets fired from it had, let's say 1.5X the stun of a thrown pebblet, that would give it a home as a nice early game ranged weapon
