1. i think that's just the number of assets available. so you can probably add stuff until your computer can't handle it no more, lol. 2. i think it's probably the same as the first answer. just add bugs until your game lags, lol. 3. i don't think we had a height limit on the main game, so i don't think you'd have one in playgrounds. you should be good to build what you want. some people's systems might handle it better than others, but that's their problem.

Would really like to see the debuffs on a bug. You could place them under their health bar, similar to where the player see the debuffs under our scab.e.

Sour Battle Axe not craftable
Johnny Wirick replied to calebv's topic in Grounded: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
You say you dont have access to battle him? They reset the whole story when the full game launched, so you can't access shmector untill you get all the gold burgl chips and find tully. If you haven't done that yet since the full release. -
It was on the feature board at one point, but now most of the board has been cleared. if you guys are really going to just put the game into maintenance mode, could you at least give us mod tools so that players can start adding their own content?

very odd floor polygons
Johnny Wirick replied to IDW's topic in Grounded: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
i think it's a remnant of the old ground, before they changed it and added stuff. there has been a strip of ground near the mix.r by the bbq since they released the shed update. that one has collision though so you can walk on it lol. -
Shared World is a mess
Johnny Wirick replied to TheyCallMeKyuu's topic in Grounded: Feedback & Suggestions
the only time i had issues, like OP described, was when i was on a bad connection. my suggestion was not a cop out, it was based on my own experience since the 1.0 release. pc or console? what console? pc specs? internet speeds? they didn't say any of that. -
Shared World is a mess
Johnny Wirick replied to TheyCallMeKyuu's topic in Grounded: Feedback & Suggestions
i've had no issues with the shared multiplayer so far. honestly sounds like you or one of your friends, or both, have internet issues. everything you described could be a poor internet connection somewhere. -
why is the fridge a late game item?
Johnny Wirick posted a topic in Grounded: Feedback & Suggestions
it would be far more useful to have it earlier. -
Love the 1.0 update! super excited to explore all the new areas of the yard. though i am disappointed to see you still have not added an in game option to turn of the depth of field effect. some of us don't care for it at all and it would be nice if i didn't have to tweak the game files after each update just to turn it off. PLEASE add an in game option to turn it off already.

A small building idea

Isn't the grass railing basically a half wall? -
DLC - Question
Johnny Wirick replied to Death Is Art's topic in Grounded: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
Possibly, but the game is still only in early access. I would like dlc but it's probably too early to tell if we will get any. -
Increasing level of difficulty?
Johnny Wirick replied to andymm76's topic in Grounded: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
They have been changing their difficulty due to adding weapon and armor upgrading. Also making it harder to cheese fights, but not impossible. Bugs also have weaknesses and resistances now. Next patch they will dodge more, strafe, and jump gaps. And all around be better at navigating terrain in order to try and dodge or kill you. Are you mostly fighting with bows? Melee in the game is more effective than bows atm. There is a more defined progression path in the yard. Hedge, pond, haze, black ant lab, sand box, shed/woodpile. Make sure your gear is the right tier for the area you are in and upgrade your weapons. You can build a ledge around the porch leg next to the faucet by the garbage bags to cheese the roly poly there to make armor. Good stuff, will help you survive better. Build tier two sheild. The area between the garbage and sand box has a chance to spawn two black solder ants. Easier to single out and kill. Can make black ant sword. Also build black ant shovel. Build your way into the sand box. At 3pm in game, go to the shadow of the shovel handle and dig in that area to get the moat key. Go to the sand box moat for the salt morning star plan. Build that. You can also put salty upgrade on the black ant sword to make killing the ant lions easier. The salt mint morning star and the other gear will make doing the black ant lab easier and the mini boss is weak to the salt morning star. Then go to the lab in the middle of the sand box and grab the burgl.e chip. Build the antlion greatsword. You can put spicy on it for an easier broodmother kill. You can pretty much roam the yard with all that. Next patch will add armor upgrading so surviving combat should get easier. -
you can build ramps and stairs downward by cheesing it a bit. place a wall next to the floor, but shift it down so that the floor lines up with the middle of the wall. the place your ramp or stairs. the wall will give the support. the platform i'm standing on in this pic is all supported by the wall the stairs are next too. as long as part of the wall is below the level of the floor, you can attach stairs to it.

the charcoal canteen has durability? hard pass on that then. having plenty of dew catchers and two canteen+ is good enough and i don't have to bother fixing them. -
they might add that along with raw science as a reward, but for now i think it will remain as another method of earning raw science outside of quests. and since it's supposed to be a collector for raw science, were would the rare resources even be coming from? and what would you classify as a rare material? i would prefer that anything that would drop from a boss not be a reward from the mix.r.
