  1. I actually saw it for the first time the other week. It's not.. bad. But it's not that great either. It's got some nice performances, a few eye-rolling moments. There are moments you can seem either pulled from or "inspired by" X3. But it's also not done like the "normal" X-Men films, there's no group story as such, it's very focused as you might expect on Jean Grey. In some ways it almost mashes together the feel of being a spin-off, a prequel story, and a re-shuffle to set the stage for the next arc of the universe and can't seem to find the tone for which of the three it is.
  2. Hmmm. While apparently in DC.... It could be Attorney General directs Bureau of Prisons to dispatch Prison Riot Teams to DC and Miami

  5. Well one of the local priests in that area has already come out with a whole set of "Seeing Trump have protestors tear gassed and pushed out of the way by police so he could have a photo-op holding a bible in front of a church seems a little like blasphemy to me.." Also:
  6. If you think that's a little crazy...
  7. I have to admit, I'm quite happy with my flexible 35 hours a week. Technically, quite often it floats between 34 and 38 hours, due to the flexi-time aspect, and as long as the work is done, no-one really cares about the exact amount of time spent working (as long as it's within reasonable slips either way). However, there have been a few interesting conversations with some of the middle-management types. Technically, yes they get a lot more money annually then I do, but when you look into how most of them end up working a lot more hours over the "official" time. So it actually breaks down to them earning simililar, or even less per hour than I do. Of course, they then get bigger bonuses at the end of the year, and that probably makes up for it.

  9. And in Camden, NJ, when the peaceful protestors were marching, the Police actually joined them.
  10. Well that's not exactly a surprise either....
  11. Still, you do get a few feel good pieces come out and a reminder that not everybody loses their mind.. Black men form human shield to protect lone police officer during protests
  12. Huh, and Chauvin's wife filed for divorce the very night he was taken into custody.
