Contemplating on the next big 3D print / cosplay project. Giving thought to doing a full Mandalorian armour set. Of course, it's all just initial plans for the moment, I'm not going to make a proper start on it until I get somewhere on the job hunt... Still, a couple of fresh interviews coming up so we shall see how they go. The job hunt process has certainly highlighted the perils with having spent 26 months working in a slightly niche / focused company. It means that basically every next job you go for afterwards is considered a different sector, and as such you get feedback from interviews of "You showed us the relevant skills, but we have other people with those skills and some experience in our sector already so we've picked them..."

Also of interesting note: Amar Chadha-Patel was actually cast as Lord Agelmar in Wheel of Time and had done all of his scenes for first season, but he's left for one of the key roles in Willow. So WoT have decided to rename his character for the first season (to Lord Yakata), and introduce a brand new Agelmar from season 2 onwards.

The guy wasn't an engineer. Apparently it basically fell apart after making that youtube video. He started a crowdsourcing thing and spent three years and a lot of his own money trying to create a grander version he could take on tour... But alas, as a non-engineer he was way in over his head , had to scrap and restart from the beginning multiple times and burnt out on it.
