  1. Ah I see, it seems they really didn't want to make regaining resources for druid easy even with tactician, but yea can't get water shaper as I am playing on console, so it comes down to ancient, hand mortar,or whisper of the Endless pass with mule kick.
  2. Hello, so lately I know I've been asking around alot about various builds, trying to find the another build that is just as fun as the two builds I have only beaten the game with (Steel garrote/ Bloodmage) and (Forbidden Fist/Ascendant), So I tried other half caster multiclasses but they didn't Have the same fun feel as the previous 2, but one thing I keep coming back to for the caster half is Druid as I really like the spell list you get with it , with all the Storm, Plant, and Beast spells. But sadly they have a finite pool of spell slots/number of times you can use your spells, which gave me the idea of combining it with tactician which has the brilliant ability to regenerating class resources, which would allow me to cast spells like the more infinite resource having classes, But I'm having trouble picking a druid subclass for this warden build and also having trouble on how I would proc brilliant using said druid class(Fury,Ancient or maybe Shifter), I would really appreciate the help and advice thx.
  3. Ah ok, but which chanter subclass would you guys recommend, I see one recommending skald, but How would Troubadour fair?
  4. Hi, lately I've been messing around with chanter and other martial classes, and decided that I wanted something more mobile for the martial half, so I decided to go with rogue, but now I'm stuck on which subclasses would go best together for a harbinger, I'm looking for something that is able to hit hard and fast but has some survivability in a fight, so for the rogue side of the build I've narrowed it down to streetfighter or trickster, and for the chanter side Troubadour, Skald or Bellower, would really appreciate the help narrowing it down a bit more. Thanks.
  5. I see OK I'll go Furyshaper/Skald, are their any invocations or passives and gear that you recommend for this build, also if I chose nature godlike to obtain the Hardy and Tenacious inspiration that berserker subclass gives, would furyshaper still be a just as a good of a choice as beserker? Lastly would dual wielding or 2h be better for a Howler?
  6. Hmm I see, so either fury shaper or beserker would work, but what about tactician /bellower, wouldn't that also have great synergy?, seeing as tactician gets brilliant and bellower gets higher PL with each phrase it obtains, which would allow you to constantly dish out incredibly powerful invocations?
  7. Hi, I've decided to try and make a melee chanter and decided to go with War Caller, I've decided to go with tactician for the fighter subclass as I would go devoted but I hate being locked into one weapon type , and I am trying to choose between Bellower and Troubadour for the chanter side of the multiclass, If not war caller I was thinking a Howler with either berserker or Furyshaper for the barbarian side and Bellower and or Troubadour for the chanter side, I would really appreciate the advice and help in deciding . P.S. is godlike worth losing a helm slot?
  8. Hey everybody been having fun playing various melee caster builds I decided on trying a potd solo run with a liberator, and I'm stuck on which version I should go with (kind wayfarer/fury or shifter), or (steel garrote/fury or shifter) and whether or not to use magran favor+sun &moon or darryns voulge as 2h for this run, would really appreciate the advice and help thx
  9. Ok so it's the druid side of the voulge that matters, would furyshaper/fury work well with the Darren's voulge or would that not be as good as berserker/fury?
  10. I see, but if were to play a tempest on potd difficulty would any combination of tempest work, sorry forgot to mention that part , also I'm guessing lord darryn voulge would work best with berserker/fury multiclass instead, seeing as beserker has a high chance to crit chance to help upgrade the voulge and fury gives a power lvl increase to storm spells, but how would it fair in melee combat?
  11. It doesn't have to be ancient, but I chose ancient over say fury or shifter cause i thought it would allow me both melee and cast spells, with some survivability through healing for berserker, seeing as it slowly drains your hp, and still allow me to use lord darryn voulge and or the other good weapons, and seeing as the top barbarian subclasses I see ppl recommend are either berserker or furyshaper. But I am open to suggestions if you know one combination would work better for the style of build I'm going for.
  12. Hey I've decided to make a tempest multiclass, but I'm having a hard time deciding which barbarian multiclass to go with furyshaper or berserker, I also plan to use lord Darren's voulge in this build and would like some help deciding what other armor and gear to get for the build, I've decided to go with ancient subclass for the druid half of the build as well, I'd also like to know which barbarian passives and skill to take as well as for ancient. Thanks for help .
  13. Ah good to know, would this character be able to take out the Megabosses too on solo ?, also I plan to use greatswords for this build, any other weapons or items you think I should use for it?
  14. So how would I build forbidden fist/soul blade, I'm guessing I would max out resolve during character creation and then what about the other stats, where would i place them at?
  15. Hi, I've decided to come back and do another run of deadfire and decided do a helwaker melee multicass build, could use some advice on the best class to combine with it to keep it alive from helwakers downside, also I'm interested in maybe also finally trying to solo the game on path of the damned difficulty but i am trying to solo it with a cipher martial multiclass combination and would really appreciate advice on how to go about it, as I don't see many solo potd builds for cipher anywhere, and mostly see people recommending bloodmage or tactian combination for most solo builds. Thanks in advance
  16. Hey for the forbidden Fist/cipher combination how would you distribute the stats for the other stats besides resolve, also I'm using beraths blessing?
  17. Sounds like the perfect blend of melee and caster, also between monk/cipher and monk/wizard which would have a easier time against all the Megabosses?
  18. Hmm I see, guess I'll go forbidden fist/Ascendant, also is there anyway to counteract the damage taken by forbidden fist, or atleast mitigate it so I don't kill myself?
  19. Also which cipher subclass is best with forbidden fist?, lastly for forbidden fist do you gain wounds from when hostile effects expire on your character or on enemies?
