  1. Still no sound patch? Nor a patch to fix the first patch? I just can't believe this lack of support.
  2. I'm not saying that Obsidian was right to cut all of it, but most of it would have been a distraction from getting TSL done on an already incredibly tight schedule. The HK quest / droid factory would have been nice, but it really didn't have all that much to do with the main quest. No other NPC had a quest that involved, except perhaps Mira - and she only has one because her path and the Exile's paths are intertwined. You could point to Bastila's holocron quest or Mission's brother, stuff like that, but those quests are tied into other stuff that you already have to do, unlike the Droid Factory. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It was editing the game that failed miserably. The Droid Planet/Factory was tied in with another quest, if you didn't find the recorder on Peragus you couldn't leave. The recorder is what cues HK into the factory dialog. So between poor editing and leaving content in the files, they screwed up, along with the many bugs that should have been caught before release on either platform.
  3. I would have been more than happy to wait until this product had been finished properly. When a game is released you expect to be able to play a game with out running into things that should have been fully cleaned up in the editing process. And bugs that should have been solved in a reliable QA process with beta testers. The only other time I have had to pay for beta testing a product was for shipping on the SW:Galaxies disks and then I only had problems with my pc's performance because at the time I had a machine that barely met minimum specs. If the major game reviewers had been honest about the state this game shipped in I doubt it would have sold like it did, there are way too many reasons why this game is a failure. Because you enjoy the game and can over look it's myriad flaws, is not a reason to excuse the failings of all involved for releassing this game in the state it is in. Now I can truly understand the meaning behind "fanboy"....
  4. I am very surprised this thread hadn't been locked like the others If some of you are tired of seeing people state thier opinion on what is wrong with the game stop reading the threads assoiciated. It is that simple.
  5. Sometimes even the big guys deserve to get bashed.
  6. I have had it happen, usually when playng a consular. Bao-Dur's remote joined T3 on another play through.
  7. I'm currently running an almost totally DS male through and have not had to kill any of the npcs, yet. Although Juhani is really getting on my nerves. Got the thing about Xor and traipsed all over trying to get him to pop to complete it....he never showed. Currently entering the Rakatan temple, playing this character to be saved by the love he feels for Bastila. Maybe....haven't fully made my mind up on that one.
  8. The man in the iron mask has the only solution I would agree with, other than the free dl'd of a content/bug patch, to send in our disks and pay for shipping of a complete/bug free version. I bought my PC version a few days after it was released and I never take previews of games at face value they deal with limited versions of games seeing what the publisher/game companies want them to see..I bought this strictly because of how much I had enjoyed KOTOR I and will never purchase a second in series game on that premise again. As the orginal poster stated, $50 is a lot of money to some people, me being one of them.
