Dragons ate my PC. I was playing today and it died. All signs point to the motherboard. I'll have things up and running again on my previous board and CPU when I find or buy some thermal compound. Until then, no more dragon hunting for me.

Don't normally pay much attention to the Steam stats, but a friend pointed this out to me. Skyrim has more players on PC than MW3 at the moment.

Still playing through Oblivion. I've gotten through more quests than I ever have before and I seem to be enjoying it more this time too. Think I'll be done just in time to start Skyrim at my current pace.

I've always gravitated toward Nords, went through Morrowind and Oblivion with Nord thieves, so I expect I'll continue the tradition.

Best DLC ever!

Maybe I should try to get a job in their Q&A department. Sounds like I'd fit in. I didn't have any problems with the boss fights, enjoyed them a bit even. None took more than three reloads to figure out what I was doing using a hacking/stealth based character.

Just finished Morrowind for the first time last week, now I'm on to Oblivion in an attempt to make it through the whole main plot for the first time. Also have a game of X3:TC that's been going since early this year, between other games.

I'm starting to actually get interesting in Skyrim now. Just watched the 20-minutes of gameplay and been looking through some of the other information out there. Don't usually pick up TES games at release, but I don't have anything on my must buy list until ME3 comes out next year, unless I'm forgetting something, so that might have something to do with too.

Finished my first run last night. According to Steam it took me about 40 hours. Think I poked my nose into just about every apartment, storage unit, air duct and dumpster in the game. And I want MOAR! This one was a non-lethal playthrough up until the return to China, not counting the killing in the prologue. Makes me want to play a non-optimum outcome run just to see what happens.

My secret dream has always been to have a space sim/fps/rpg hybrid. Something along the lines of Privateer meets Deus Ex.

From the two days I had in the Alpha, the BattleLog system actually seemed to work quite well. It was a little strange at first, having to start the game from the browser, but not completely foreign, since Battlefield Free2Play uses a similar, but striped down, system.

Pre-loading has begun on Steam.

How can this not be posted yet?

Just started up another co-op run with a friend in DS3 and have a long X3TC game that's been going, on and off, since about February. Between those two, I'm trying to fit in AC: Brotherhood and TW: Shogun 2.

So far: Borderlands GOTY AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAAaAAAAA!!! Grand Theft Auto Classics (GTA - GTA: San Andreas) Braid Total War: Shogun 2 and DLC Magicka Complete Pack Trine Mount and Blade: Warband Mount and Blade: With Fire & Sword Penny Arcade Combo Pack Lara Croft: Guardian of Light DLCs one Just Cause 2 DLC FO:NV DLC - Honest Hearts and Dead Money Drakensang: River of Time DLC - Phileasson's Secret I'm thinking of picking up AC: Brotherhood, but I know some of this I still won't have played by the time of the next big sale, so maybe I should just hold off on that one. And I'm at 18 tickets, with a couple I might still have time to get. It's funny though, with everything listed out, it doesn't look like I bought as much as I thought I did. I feel somewhat better now.

Just finished my first run of DS3. Took about 16.5 hours and did the whole thing in Co-op with a friend of mine. I took Anjali and he used Katrina. Loved it and I'm ready for some more. Turned out none of the valid complaints about the game, camera, keyboard controls, etc actually bothered me at. Have a controller that I used for the demo, but stuck with mouse and keyboard for the actual play through.

Have you attempted to forward all ports, just to check? Usually there's a DMZ option that does that in the router setup. I'd say test that, just to rule out the router blocking the ports it needs. I had connection issues the first day, which opening all ports fixed, then it started working without opening all or even specific ports a day or two later for no apparent reason.

Are either of you behind a router?

I'm not sure if I can help with this problem without sounding sarcastic, but I'll try. One solution should be to get your friends and yourself to turn off the speakers and use a pair of headphones. Problem should be solved after that. Otherwise, you and your friends will have to adjust your speaker volume and positioning relative to your mic and hope for the best. Maybe check your sound settings to see if there's some echo cancellation available that might also reduce it.

Well, I was hoping to have solved this and have an answer for which ports are needed, but it's strangely started working without my having to mess with my port forwarding on my router. Maybe one of the small mini-patches changed something. If anyone else has issues, the ports that it appeared to need were 8766, 27016, 58046, and 58047. But with things working now without specific port forwarding, I can't test it to be certain.
