  1. It's the latter; we have a menu of missions that you select from in the safehouse. Mike warps to mission, beats up/stealthily passes by a bunch of bad guys, and then you return to the safehouse to check your news, emails, etc., and repeat the process. Wow that's disappointing. I was hoping for some exploration in some of the major cities and such
  2. You have no idea what SecuRom does to your PC, do you? I don't mind non-invasive types of DRM such as those that require a serial number or a disc check. However, when it comes to install limits *cough*Mass Effect*cough* and online activation, that's just out of the question. I don't want to pay $50 of my hard earned money just to have spyware installed onto my PC. For your reading pleasure http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SecuROM http://www.amazon.com/review/REQ0B4T30Q4X4...t#REQ0B4T30Q4X4
  3. What kind of DRM will be intended for the PC version? Please don't say SecurRom I'm just hoping for a simple disc check.
  4. I just want better hand to hand combat (not much of a stealth player so the crouch doesn't really matter to me). From what I've seen the CQC still looks pretty bad. It seems jerky and unnatural.
  5. Um, no, given the number of games I've played whose poor portage from consoles to PCs is clearly evident, it's a perfectly valid question. Assassin's Creed?
  6. I recommend the first Mission Impossible, when Tom Cruise was still sane and hadn't yet become the butt of every couch joke.
  7. Has anyone seen this? I heard it was pretty crap. Compared to Casino Royale, it was crap. Compared to most other action movies out there, it was average. It's still worth a rental. Anyway, I can't believe this but I've seen every movie on that list.
  8. MT's face looks too perfect. It's a little unsettling. I hope we can give him some scars or something.
  9. Another concern came up. I know you guys wanted us to make decisions on the fly with the dialogue system, but the timer seems to deplete pretty fast to me. In the GTTV segments it seems that we're given not more than 5 seconds to respond. Exactly how much time are we actually given? Are the GTTV footage misleading?
  10. Status of the game has been updated over on Gamespot. There seems to be a few people who are looking forward to it. Sega just needs to keep teasing people with new information.
  11. Does that mean we can customize Thornton's look to some degree?
  12. I have a question. What happens when you don't pick a dialogue option before the timer runs out?
  13. I know what you mean. The PS3 version always gets the short end of the stick. For some reason 3rd party developers always do a halfhearted port. Another example would be Fallout 3, where there are so many bugs and hiccups that I stayed away from the PS3 version and got the PC version instead. I really hope that Alpha Protocol will be pretty much equal across all platforms because I am very much looking forward to it. I just think the concept is very fresh and unique and it would be a shame if the PS3 version turns out to be less than stellar in comparison to the X360 version.
