Listening to: Devil May Cry 3 Battle music

And you wont even get to see a pair of boobz. The gif of Miranda stripping is the most explicit thing in the game. *waits for jaguars to implode*
-
Save it, there's no nudity at all. Not even on ME scale.
-
I thought I did as well, but now I might have to actually praise something in the game.
-
Hold your horses people, the definitive review is yet to come. That would be mine.

Summoner is a JRPG made with a western setting and characters. Never played it, and its too late now to bother. It got very good grades and was praised for its story and characters. It also had a sequel that was console only I think.

What's the playing time for 95% thoroughness Pop? (or Maria) My playing time for almost total completion of ME was barely above 20 hours. Facepalm: the DLC's have already been unofficially released. How did they get their hands on them so fast?

Hahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahah
-
I know. Its infuriating. PS People: While I wait for Me2 is there any program that can load my save file and tell me what my character's level and other stats are? I cant be bothered to install the game again.
-
Well I'll start playing tomorrow if my graphics card doesn't decide to overheat. If it does I'm screwed for a week or two.

You're all looking at it from your own experience. True, none of this RPG stuff is too complicated, especially when compared to wargames and such - but its not that most people lack the brains to comprehend it - its the motivation. I've seen it again and again - if a game is not a pick up and play affair they'd rather not bother. Mass Effect is a pick up and play RPG or as close as you can get to it (okay Jade Empire is simpler). That ensures better sales and a bigger crowd. With this crowd comes a horde of people whose aspirations are low to say the least. They want shooting, they want t!ts and they don't want to think. I'm not saying it like its a bad thing - I enjoy shooters just as much as the next man, I'm just saying that in expanding from the PRG nerd base they will get all sorts of fans - and those whose biggest motivation is virtual clevage. Its their own doing in an effort to expand their sales, but it comes with a price. Dont forget that the most successful RPG ever is not BG or whatever - its most likely Diablo. *Curiously Maria isn't around to comment either way on these sex scenes.
-
Thats the price they pay for making it accessible to every imbecile. True RPG nerds would complain only for the important stuff.
-
Well they are disappointing but not exactly a substantial reason to complain. I know most consider it one of the worst, but I found it really imaginative.

I liked FFX and nothing else. I played Suikoden 3, Shin Megami Tensei (2 games), all other FF games and a few others and I've had enough of it for several lifetimes. Its painfully obvious they're trying to avoid a scandal like with the first one, but at the same time to give more of the same. It wont work that way. Note: jaguars4ever is going to go ballistic
-
minimal SPOILERS I suggest you people watch the scenes so you're not disappointed. -The Jack/Suze scene has a romantic/sad vibe to it, absolutely nothing explicit and even tamer than the fling we saw earlier. I would say its okay but in truth its only as good as the actual romance that preceeded it. If its satisfying I guess the scene is as well. -Tali's is whiney and visually unsatisfying. Its only talk, almost no sex. -Miranda's tries to be the most erotic, but there's no energy in it. -Garrus's scene has no sex, its actually amusing but at least that was intentional. All of the scenes are much tamer than the original ME scene. Which is bad. There is no nudity at all. This is a great contrast to the supposed badass approach of ME2. Much ado about nothing. The only scene with any kind of emotion is the Suze scene, because of nice facial animation.

I wouldn't complain either if they weren't like the only company left that's dedicated to western, story driven RPG's. Paradoxically the only reason they are still around is because they havent deviated from their original formula in any significant way except to make it more and more accessible (or dumber, depending on how you look at it). I really can't bother with indie games. C++ love huh?

Bah anything goes in GTA, its not like they have to give a toss about causing an outrage. In general I don't expect anything except a good time. I recognise that even BG2 wasn't too deep, but then - what was? Torment? Well - yes, but Torment is in a category of its own, if everything is to be compared to it then everything will look lame and childish. Or Alpha Centauri, or Homeworld. Those are once in a blue moon games. As for Bioware I liked BG for its ability to inspire feelings, mostly of camaraderie and adventure - not because it was philosophical (because it wasn't). This is at best what I expect from Bio. The kind of feeling when you fire up a game, and you think a whole world of possibilities is at your fingertips. At the very least NOT knowing what comes next. That's my greatest Bio game killer, that lack of surprise. however I'm continually surprised about the sex scenes, because they are unreasonably awkward/constipated? I mean, how hard can it be to do a mature sex scene with some energy in it? What's the problem exactly?

Thanks Oner, once again I hate pixel boobs. It does create that reaction doesn't it. (FemShep+Kelly scene) I don't know where to put that, under lame or tasteless. Its like they want to make it intense but something's holding them back and the end result is awkward. It as if it was made by a virgin, you know -read about it all but not sure what goes where exactly (presuming the M/F scenes are equally awkward).
