sure you can, but invaders or my own invasions are a very important part of the game for me.

I never said i'd buy them at the same time. I'll probably buy Ps3 version first and play that. Once i get my PC upgraded i'll get PC version.

You can watch that whole thing now on youtube. I thought the presentation was totally underwhelming. Too limited options in combat, and the whole game feels more like a cartoonish theme park. I thought X-COM was supposed to be creepy and tenseful. Well, maybe the inevitable demo is going to change my mind. I hope for a real playable demo, because watching the first 5-7 minutes of this was painful. The constantly jumping around camera and unnecessary change of perspective ruined the experience so far. Might feel differently when getting your own hands on the keyboard/mouse. I loved what i saw, because it reminded me of Valkyria Chronicles on top of all old games. So I may even buy 2 versions, 1 pc and 1 for ps3.

So all you Dark souls players, have you had any troubles with impossible griefers? Since the PC version is so easily hacked and there are no online checks to keep anything in order. I won't give in and buy PC version, October 26th will come soon enough. Until then i can prepare new builds on all my PSN accounts. :D Maybe i should play some Dead space 2 or Heavy Rain. I've been meaning to do that for months..

It's far from the worst port ever, but expecting a good port of a game that was build for consoles only is weird thinking. Namco just wants to make more money so they took the cheapest route, and you can't really get a good port from people who have never made PC games.

No, i'll live with 100% completion of everything in AC , including all DLCs.
-
No, they're not. Now what?
-
Then he'll just have to ignore it. And do tell what to say to someone who fails the "I dare to prove your skills" challenges and hates them for it?

How is that where the "real fun" is? You go onto a map and do three different gadget challenges. It's the least fun aspect of the entire game. The main story is the best part, and the combat challenges are for fans of "beat 'em up" style fighting games. The predator challenges are like taking the most annoying aspect of the other modes and making them the basis for the mode. Also, not sure how not being able to get all the medals on the simplest one means someone sucks at the game as a whole. I've finished the main campaign on normal and halfway through on hard right now, not having any actual trouble when use of those gadgets were called upon in those situations in the main story. But the difference being I can usually CHOOSE when to use those gadgets. I don't get told to use 3 different gadgets on a map and fail (or not get medals) if I kill the enemies any other way. Because you have user your brain a little more, plan stuff, experiment with all the gadgets while being reasonably limited by goals. And when you succed you feel proud and most of us try to improve our time and get even better. The only challenging and fun part in story mode is the battle with Freeze on hard. So finishing the game on normal is pretty much the easiest part, hard is just repeating everything with slightly longer boss battles. So yes you suck if you can't use your "skills" from story mode to finish those simple tasks. Combat challenges for fans of beat em up? Maybe the train level where you're actually progressing through wagons to the boss, but not most of the maps. Besides where's the fun when noone can touch you ,because you have the space and tools to deal with anything they might throw at you ,with ease. The "least fun" aspect of the game is mixing combat and predator challenges and adding mutators, the so called campaign challenges. But with the right plan even those can be entertaining.

I just don't bother with them, same as AA. When I've finished the game, I like to then go back and finish off as many achievements as I can. Unfortunately, I need to finish a bunch of the predator challenges to reach the silver achievement, as there just aren't enough medals available in combat challenges to reach that alone. Predator challenges are where the real fun is. If you can't even get all medals at the simplest ones, you really must suck at playing this game.

So RoWa is still fixing the damn thing?
-
EA=Bioware. Why is that so hard to understand? If there's evil there it's 50% Bioware and 50% EA.
-
It's their fault ???
-
I haven't seen anything worth supporting from them. I'll pass.

I dare you to go play BAA. You'll love the combat in AC even more. :D

At least the pathway is shown.

If this doesn't sell then there will be even more pressure on the indies to deliver. :/ I think i'm going to go preorder this now.
-
They can still add stuff in addon or DLC if they dont deliver everything in the retail game. :D and that link is not working.

But Raven hasn't made anything real good in a decade or so . :/( edit: Besides doesn't Activision own Raven?
-
I like where this is going. They can wait until showing the next one until Christmas though.

Play Thief, get scared, play Thief II, ger scared again, play Thief:DS, get scared and maybe even finish the game.
-
I wasn't that interested in this, but i'm still glad it got more than enough funding. Might play it when it's released, if it'll be good of course. :D

That game is so awesome. I should play it again for the umpteenth time. You seen to be using some mods for it, are there any good mods out there ? I just use a small mod that allows me to add custom animations for Advanced power armor and such. Oh and custom images for custom weapons i made myself. The only decent mod i know is Fallout tactics redux . It doesn't add much but it makes the core experience somewhat better.

There was no PoP in the same year. It was released 12 months later. Or are you talking about the PC port?
