DS3 goes the right way, that is closer to Demon's souls and ends up as the best combat in Souls games. DS1 has nothing left that DS3 doesn't have or hasn't improved on.

It's sort of a callback to Naughty Dog games from the nineties ... not that that will make you enjoy it. I don't mind it. Yeah, in U4 they made that especially evident.

EDIT: Actually, I already reached that area before. Even killed the Demon King. It is just that I didn't explore all the lake like I should have. So you've already used it as a ladder you say and just forgot about it? I don't think there is any other way down there.

Or you could just use it as a ladder ...

The bridge fell apart for a reason ...

I found 83. Practice from previous games. Also i was determinates to unlock the most of the bonus tweaks and "cheats" so that they ease my way to platinum trophy, if i ever even attempt to do it. I hate speed runs, or should i say i loathe speedruns.

There are no quests or missions there. It's just a PVE zone with PVP elements. Kill and collect gear and then try to extract it. That's all there is to it. Also leveling up your Dark Zone rank to be able to buy stuff from traders in Safe houses. They have the best gear or blueprints that you can buy.

It's a homage cleverly woven into the story. You never get his name, the closest you to seeing his game is "Guy" and then everything else burned off on some picture. Also his symbol is monkey and the only real fact you get about him is how he became a great swordsman. And yeah you get to see his skeleton, still dressed in the same gear. Too bad they didn't take the "i can hold my breath for 10 minute" and had him drown. It would have worked in the story as well. -
Finished uncharted 4 as well, might be the best uncharted to play but not best overall. I don't like the story, SAm or the villains all that much. I mean the work well together but no. Especially the villains felt underused, Nadine comes to mind. Also the separation of pure combat/stealth and explore/platform never bothered me as much in previous games as it does now in u4.

Yeah, i've decided to stop making screenshots of Uncharted since every step i make i could make a new one. There's just no way to stop once you start. :S And screw TLOU2, zombies are the least fun. What we need now is more wild west ... RDR2! -

This is what i don't get. What exactly is so improved from predecessors? The shooting was stellar from 2 onward and i've had a blast in 1 one as well. But people always bring out some improvements that i just don't see. From the start i'd say that new recoil on the weapons made the shooting less enjoyable and not better.

Uncharted 4, like pretty much all the online friends from my friends list Looks great, plays great but the brother character hasn't convinced me so far.

The hell? How can you get as far as thinking about ragequit in a ~5 minute long chapter? edit: My 60 year old father had no trouble in 98% of the game and that on hard diff..

Well some doors are locked/ not interactive until you start the correct side missions. So try to do as many as you can in each area. Preferably all, like i've already written, they unlocked certain enemies and you get XP and i just remembered that you get a Crafting blueprint every time you complete all side missions in a area. I also advise you to upgrade your base as fast as you possibly can. The passive bonuses come in quite handy. After you get to level 10 go visit the Dark Zone too and learn the basics there. You'll find better gear than you have probably, even if it has to be extracted. At low levels or low armor value or with whatever they make brackets to separate now, you shouldn't have too much trouble with griefers or random ****, as you won't be carrying anything valuable to them.
-
Well if you play or replay a mission on Hard difficulty the loot at the end scales to your level ( since the enemies do as well :D) , so you can try that to get a good gun.
-
The most powerful combo is a good SMG and any kind of M1A. Spraying bullets with SMgs at close range and easilty picking off enemise at a distance with the op gun that m1a is. So yeah, high DPS number and you're good to go. Always aim for the head, especially with SMGs. Though my info is about a month old, i don't know if they patched/balanced anything big since then concerning weapons.

No, the game is about finding cell phones in the snow and piecing together the tapestry of these people's lives as the world crumbled around them. Leveling and loot is a waste of time. Well if you want that, you have perk that shows you everything on the map once you clear side missions. Blind searching for these collectibles gets real boring real fast. Hell even when knowing where they are, it was quite a pain to get 100%. But yeah it also gives you XP so it's good . :D
-
Go do side missions, you get extra XP after doing them in each area and another batch of extra xp for moving to another safe house after that. Also some completing some of those missions unlocks named enemies to roam around the area map, they drop loot that's your level or higher. But they also might be too high of a level for you to even attack. Still xp and loot is what this game is all about until level 30. After that, just loot.
-
Don't worry, you'll be replaying mission again soon. Well if you want a trophy anyway :D. YOu have to replay every mission on hard for that.
-
You don't share loot. What drops is always yours. You can exchange loot if you want but that's it. The only way to pick up another players loot is to kill someone carrying infected loot in Dark Zone.
-
Well could be worse. You could have been doing that from September 2014 until December 2015, before finally quitting.

Wow, that's some random distribution. :D I haven't done something like that since my first character in Demon's souls. -
