  1. You do have a Faraday cage around your PC. It's called "the case". I recommend it put it into a Fahrenheit cage, just to be on the safe side.
  2. I thought all the computers self-destructed during the great Y2K apocalypse, and now everything is either hand cranked or driven by oxen?
  3. So how come the solar flare in 1921 didn't burn down every telegraph station and every house with a telephone? And ground current? That's a lot of ground current. And how come the entire power grid didn't shut down, they had electricity back then. There are fires and equipment damage by lightning strikes every day, so what?
  4. Wow, it only took MS 5 years to fix their 360 POS to what it should've been to start with.
  5. Meh, more panic mongering.
  6. You probably have no idea what you're talking about. Hold on. Let's check. Hands up, any commandos on the forum? I watched the "The Deadliest Warrior". Does that count? I think it's one in the head, two in the chest.
  7. As commandos, they're probably trained to shoot in the head. Plus if you're close, that's where the shot naturally lines up, and there's no time to aim.
  8. Clubs are used at point blank range, in case you didn't know. If the militants were far away, there would not be any need to shoot them. And it wasn't Israel editing pictures, it was Reuters to make Israel look bad.
  9. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20100613/ap_on_re_as/as_pakistan IMO, if we're so weak and incompetent that we can't even prevent our supposed ally from sponsoring our enemy, we ought to just quit and stop wasting American lives.
  10. Just a bunch of political posturing all around, doesn't mean much at all.
  11. Some good points here: http://pajamasmedia.com/blog/helen-thomas-weimar-moment/
  12. Actually, they appointed Nouri al-Maliki to speak for them. But I understand your confusion, we look very similar. That link says he demanded a timetable for withdrawal, not an immediate withdrawal which is what you claimed. To my knowledge we are actually ahead of the negotiated timetable.
  13. Most of the surface temperature record increase comes from suspicious "adjustments", as well as other questionable practices, like changing the make up of the surveyed temperature stations over time and siting stations in urban heat islands. Due to the secrecy and dissimulation of the global warming community these records have been hard to check in the past, but are being looked at now, so we should have a more objective picture in a couple of years.
  14. I'm glad they appointed you to speak for them.
  15. Yet Iraq still wants us gone. Funny how that works. They want us gone once order has been reestablished, which isn't exactly surprising. Edit: Humans have evolved to function in society while still prioritizing their personal reproductive success, that much should be obvious.
  16. Isn't one responsible for fixing what one broke? We're not attacking Iraq, we're defending its legitimate government and ourselves.
  17. See, if you could only foretell the future back then, everyone would've known that.
  18. Didn't I say it was a good thing? Anyway, I don't believe in killing anyone unless it's after a trial or in self defense.
  19. After playing Alan Wake, I kept looking for lighted areas while driving at night.
  20. Good thing Comrade Stalin made sure that filthy contra Trotsky got his.
  21. Defense of communism you mean, since when do communists believe in human rights? Do you also give credit to nazis for standing up to the communists?
  22. Once again, they're not starving. But I guess there's no evidence that will convince someone like you.
  23. Don't worry, the smart Indian guys will do all the math for you.
  24. Yeah, sorry to insult your murdering communist heroes. You should've said so earlier, puts all your posts in a new perspective. Have you met LoF yet?
