  1. What predefined jumping points? Looks to me like the player is simply aiming where he wants to jump and a 'jump target' appears when he holds a button (left trigger I think). It didn't seem there was much of a choice where you can place your marker to. Why not just doing it the good old fashioned way and jump to whereever you see fit.
  2. How would you know the relationship between Arkane und Ubi are good? DM completely bombed, so I doubt they'll work together again.
  3. My retailer already has ME2 in store, so tomorrow I'm gonna play it. Hell yeah.
  4. Deraldind saved me from embarassment. Now I can unleash my manliness through playing as a dude, doing stuff with Miranda that dudes usually do, if you know what I mean.
  5. Well, the game would be too easy if you kill everyone with a single punch. That reminds me that a barely used the wristblades in the predecessors. There were also more weapons in AvP2. A rifle, a spear, the disc. Lot's more ways to kill.
  6. It seems (from the vid) that the plasma caster now also works without any vision mode enabled. I also haven't seen any energy drain in the vid.
  7. The rumours say there's alot of lez action but no manlove, Im afraid. But they did have that in DA, so maybe the rumours are wrong. Well, the thing is, I only have a complete ME1 savegame from a FemShep right now (I presume I can't change gender afterwards in ME2?), but I wanna romance with Miranda, because ya know, I'm a dude (but playing as a gal). Ahh, it's complicated.
  8. Nothing wrong with the wristblades. But I still get the feeling the Predator is too overpowered.
  9. Well, it's no biggy or deal-breaker for me, it just reminds me how contradicting it is to the 1999 AvP. I still need to play a demo first though before I give the full version a go.
  10. :decline of leveldesign: Lol, it even rhymes.
  11. I take it you haven't played any multiplatform shooters in the last ~5 years? It's either super sandbox or a train ride. Sure I have. But having an obtrusive marker that tells you where you can jump to is a new low in multiplatform gaming.
  12. I wonder what ever happened with The Crossing. It looked promising.
  13. Guys let's not spoil the fun with this piracy talk, let's get back to the topic. So, can I romance Jakob as MaleShep?
  14. Here are the first 10 min from the Predator campaign: I like how there are predefined jumping points across the map. It's like you play it the way the designer meant it to be.
  15. Indeed. Everything I need to know about ME2 is already available. No need to wade through fanboy drivel.
  16. Nobody says Jeremy Soul has to use his fantasy-game music style for a Fallout game. I found the F3 music from Inon Zur unremarkable. Hope Soul or someone else gets the job for F:NV.
  17. This is why ME2 will be a must-buy for Boo.
  18. Pandorum. A flawed SciFi-Thriller, but overall pretty good. Especially the first 10 min were great.
  19. FEAR (not 2) Orange Box Bioshock
  20. You know, that sounds even more pathetic than your usual drivel. Banal and boring. That's how we know our Krezzy.
  21. Which was probably planned to be in the game anyway, until some genius in marketing decided to rip it out and sell it for extra. Just like Shale, it will prolly be a completely pointless character.
  22. There weren't any. That's just what the press and fanboys like to make up. At any rate, since I loved BS1, it's a no brainer to get excited about the sequel. I take anything that isn't a Doom clone or plays in industrial concrete complexes.
  23. Yeah Dark Messiah was back then in 2006 a really good game, but for today's standards it's banal and boring. It just didn't age very well. Still looking forward to Arkane's next game.
  24. Can I also romance Miranda when I play Femshep? This is critical for my purchase.
  25. A sequel to a well-known franchise usually doesn't need such a big marketing campaign. Anyway, go over to the 2K forums, you'll find plenty of stuff there, including developers posting there about their experience making the game. Pretty cool stuff. Can't wait what Ken levine is working on. Probably a new IP, while 2K Australia handles X-Com.
