  1. All of them (Madison, Mina, Scarlet, and SIE), although I ended up on the boat with Mina. Evidently you can get Scarlet if you don't save Mina but I didn't feel like letting her die this play-through (for that matter, I didn't let Madison die either).

Word. I'm trying to play through and earn my No Time For Love' achievement now, and I'm having a hard time with it.

To be honest, though, I was pretty disappointed that I couldn't romance Sis.

  2. Yay! A discussion in the KotOR 2 thread that's not a skeeter dump!

Ahem, I think part of what makes Nihilus so scary, is the fact that we just don't know who he used to be. And I don't want to know, frankly. Nihilus Scares me. Worse than... than Sion does.

On the topic of dreads.... I think it looks silly. I like bald Sith, like Sion and Bane. And I suppose, Malak. Or maybe... a sith-mullet.

  3. You have to be dark sided to do it: it's what sparks the dialog option - his comment on your "rotted" appearence.

To answer questions about the file:

I posted this thread months ago, to which I was lucky enough to get a response from LadyCrimson about the mod. At the time I was a little too stupid to know that it isn't really right to distribute mods on a larger scale if you don't have permission from the author. Well, I learned quite a bit about modding since then, and I've decided that I don't feel right giving to out to people (especially to people I don't know, when the file doesn't even come with a readme, and thus, I really have no idea who made it). LC gave the mod to me in a PM, and if she wanted to hand it out to everybody, she would have posted it here.

I appreciate anyone that comes across this thread because of

, but as I've said it that vid's description, "since I don't really know who the author is, I wouldn't feel right about giving this mod out, so PLEASE DON'T ASK ME TO."
  4. Sorry if this has already been discussed here, but I'm new to this thread. I saw the stuff on xbox live and I'm sad to see that although we'll be able to fiddle with stats and class at character creation, you're basically 1 set dude. I'm disappointed, really. RPGs are funner for me (and more immersive) if I can be female. It affects lots of stuff, appearence (abviously) but also romance and stuff later in the game.

  5. "Missie"? Why do I get the feeling that it doesn't matter WHAT I say to you, because I'm a woman?

I was only choosing to reinterate my earlier post, in which I said this:

:( The sad truth is there are more sad fools out there that prefer KOTOR 1 to KOTOR 2. Those same sad fools wanted the franchise back woth BioWare, EA or no. And, sadly, from what I've seen, there ARE more K1/Bioware loving fools out there than there are the rest of us.

Lucas probably just went with popular opnion. And I'm willing to bet popular opinion says BioWare.

And yes, reading your post, I do choose to lump you in with said "sad fools out there that prefer KOTOR 1 to KOTOR 2." You're entitled to

beleive that BioWare and LA have made a good decision in making SWTOR

And I'm entitled to believe that you're a moron.

  6. *sniffle* Jediphile, that was beautiful. :ermm:

I feel the same. I'm still holding out for TSLRP, but, yeah, I agree. And it's sad, really.

I'm not going to lie and say that I won't TRY the MMO. But even if it breaks all of my preconceived notions, it will never make its way into the obsessive place that KOTOR 2 has in my heart.

  7. No. KotF was a con, TSLRP exists and works. The problem of course is that it doesn't work well enough to justify a release right now.

Dash, like most of us, is quite busy at the moment, so just be patient. Waiting for even a few months (and no, I'm not saying it will take that long) isn't going to kill you.

I'm willing to wait s'more. :( Just don't quit guys, PPPPPPLLLLLLLLLEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSSEEEEEEEEEE!

  8. Obsidian did ask. They were told no. Move on. Obsidian has. That's why NWN2 expansion 2, AP, and A exist.

  9. Dude, am I the one that came in here crying about the fact that "TSLRP doesn't really matter now"?

YES. SOME OF US STILL WANT TO PLAY IT. And don't condescend to try to tell me you're a fan of K2. I don't want to hear that crap. "I would have closed this thread for bashing my company's software by now." OK, so with that logic, you love K2 SOOOOOOOOOOO much more than people who are putting hours of their own time restoring stuff that's contained IN THE GAME FILES. You really have no idea what the TSLRP IS, do you?

If you don't like the TSLRP, nobody says you've GOT to play it. It's that simple. SO PISS OFF with your " This thread is about the freedom to express one's thoughts about "Team-Gizka". Good and bad opinions are allowed here."

  10. Look, I'm not here to argue my opinion with you. If you look jolly forward to the MMO, THEN GOOD FOR YOU!!!

But don't come onto the TSLRP thread and spout this garbage:

TSLRP doesn't really matter now. If this was released several years ago, I think there would be more people interested. "The Old Republic" has already pushed people's interest further down the storyline. Jedi Exile and Revan's fate will be explored in the new MMO. The HK-Factory and the ending to "The Sith Lords" has finally been fleshed out by BioWare. Look at the new swtor.com site, and you will see how insignificat the HK-Factory is to the overall story. I'm more geared towards playing the first "Knights of the Old Republic" game. Team-Gizka was not done in time, and that is not anyone else's problem except for theirs. Who really cares at this point. I'm sure they did a great job, but its too late for me to even bother.

Your opinion is NOT the people's opinion. Keep your MMO LURVE talk in the MMO threads.

  11. You mean this?

What utter and complete cack. Way to not even ATTEMPT to finish a story.

Oh yeah, and "high-five*, Archie. I agree. :(

    More on topic:

Extremely unlikely, but still at least I'll actually want to play this, rather than 'Star Wars: Lets Grab as much Cash as Possible 2'.

Agreed. I'd pay to play TSLRP before I pay for the MMO. And I really can't wait, now. Looks like TSLRP is all we're ever going to have.
