  1. The only game of theirs that really disappointed me was NWN 1. I got what I expected out of KotOR and JE.
  2. I happen to disagree. I consider myself fairly educated and well read and I consider rap music and there are quite a number of artists that I do like. I use music from Enimen and Ice T as inspirational music for my campaigns and the stories I write. Then again I also listen to Enya, Mercedes Lackey, and Enigma so I could be considered "sub-human."
  3. What can be said? Flesh sells.
  4. Oneo fo my players thought to compare myself an my roommate to those guys. The rest of the gaming group pummeled him while I watched with small amusement. It kind of gave new meaning to PKing.
  5. It seems to be just another Tolkienesque CRPG with a toolset. If I am bored with Oblivion and NWN 2 by the time of release I will most likely will get it.
  6. Yes, but it was something I would expected from Bioware. Bioware maintains their formula regardless of genre of CRPG, and their formula story writing is completely western in its design. Still, Black Whirlwind is one of my favorite Biowarian characters.
  7. I don't think it was strong enough in the chinese mythology department, but did a decent job representing it. I don't mind CRPGs that follow different mythologies personally. What I would like to see is a CRPG that follows the Hindu mythology. That could be very interesting if done right. I also agree that JE would make a poor port unless they completely rewrite the interface that it can be used properly with keyboard and mouse and I think it is the wrong type of game for that as much as NWN 1/2 (toolset included) would have a wrong feel on console. Oh, I think that Morrowind came out for both platforms around the same time if memory serves.
  8. I personally don't care if the game was a success or failure. Its a good game and I like it. That is the only thing that matters to me. I too bought the Limited Edition Jade Empire. They had the normal version and the LE version available and both at the same price.
  9. I have to post something on this. First off, the movie is kickarse. Secondly I have a strong feeling that it will be released no later than June, even ifi t has some serious bugs. The question still remains if Obsidian will be able to give full technical support for NWN 2. Bioware was phenomenal in its support of Neverwinter Nights 1 and it would be a damn shame if NWN 2 doesn't get the same level of support.
  10. I hated marcus. He always kills me.
  11. I am just curious what type of action game they would make? I mean if they can make deep story driven CRPGs then by rights they should have the ability to make a deep story driven action game. I look forward in seeing Obsidian's "Jade Empire."
  12. As long as they make good story driven games on a platform I own then all is good. I mean I rather see CRPGs but I'll keep an open mind for the most part.
  13. Grrr... It won't let me download it. Bugger.
  14. Yet the image the standard has in mind is dominately Christian Western which goes against the standard religious dresscode of Islam.
  15. But creating a standard that purposely eliminates items belong to one religion while not on others is.
  16. Yet you cannot simply disregard its religious significance.
  17. It is still a religious item. I don't care if it is hidden or not. To disallow one and allow another is discrimiation.
  18. Then all religious items should be a part of the non-compliance dresscode then. Can't say only Islamic shaws and viels and allow yamaks or crosses.
  19. A place of business has a dress code and I have no problems with that. Public image is very important to a business, but also fairplay. You can't just fire Muslims for wearing a Islam religious item and let a Christian who wears a cross on a necklace. That is discrimination and bigotry.
  20. Ooooo! Beta OS's! Where can I get mine!
  21. If thuis Denmark supermarket is going to fire a Muslim for wearing a religious item then they better fire EVERYONE who wears religious icons on their person. Personally I don't care what people wear but stil maintain religion is a private affair but if you gioing to ban one you ban them all.
  22. Hey, I am jsut saying leave the religious stuff at home and I don't discriminate by saying Christian stuff is okay, but no Islam material, or Jewish Star is fine but crosses have to go. I treat all religions equally.
