  1. I play all my games on Medium.
  2. Same here. I won't buy another KotOR 2.
  3. I liked Indigo Prophecy but it had very litle replay value.
  4. Could you write a bot program that scans your system via the network and remove the program for you?
  5. That is why I said "dirty soap water."
  6. And we are just to expect to take his word as truth? If they don't put in the DM Client at release with hopes of putting it in as a patch, but Atari gives the game the same support as MOO3 and ToEE then we will not see that patch for several months if at all. Relying on Atari to support their games is like relying on a wet paper bag to hold 30 pounds worth of groceries.
  7. So, people of no relevance.
  8. You didn't create a monster. All you did was flip the switch to on.
  9. I highly doubt it. They don't have the resources that Bioware has. At best I am expecting NWN 2 to be as supported as KotOR 2.
  10. The game needs to be delayed then, but it won't be. We know it. I just know I will not be buying it until the DM Client is released and if by some miracle it is in the game at release then so much the better. Also it does matter who's fault it is. At least it matters to me. Like I said, I don't want another kotOR 2.
  11. Taking a gander on the NWN 2 forums at BIO Sawyer had this to say about the issue: So there we have it. Its Obsidian's fault, squarely all their fault.
  12. Percentages are meaningless. That is still a lot of people who use or are affected by the use of the DM Client. It is an essential element of playing NWN online.
  13. Yep, and NWN on average has 2000 to 2500 people online at almost any given time and about a tenth of that are DMs using DM clients in either PWs or through small group gaming. One of the major selling points of NWN online was a DM. It is what made NWN the closest DnD CRPG to PnP. If you take away the DM in PnP you don't have a game. Same applies here.
  14. Ever been to Neverwinter Connections?
  15. Not that it matters now. Like I said, what is done is done and no amount of b**hing is going to change that so I am voting against Obsidian with my money. I urge others who are disgusted by this turn of events to do the same.
  16. No doubt about that. When were you going to tell us, Fergie? After the game had shipped?
  17. That is you and not me and let me tell you something Lare, there are more people like me who want the DM client at release than there are people like you who finds buying an incomplete game satisfactory. Delay the game til Christmas so the whole thing can be released at once.
  18. Oh well, what s done is done. There is nothing we can do about it anyway. People who don't care if they get an incomplete product will buy it on release while those who want a full product will wait til the DM Client is in the game. It seems that once again Obsidian bit more than they can chew.
  19. It does sound that this game is getting worse and worse.
  20. Hey, when I posted that I thought I was getting a complete game. EDIT: Ah, fixed.
  21. I still say delay the whole game so that ti can be released altogether and done right and not piecemeal.
  22. If a job is worth doing, then it is worth doing well. You do the game right, or the game is nothing.
