Think you have the right stuff?
I hardly recognize society as it is.

Think you have the right stuff?
Between Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, Final Fantasy IV-VI, Metroid Fusion, Golden Sun, the Legend of Zelda Oracle games, and the GBA Castlevania game I have, I could do a couple of years in complete isolation.

I sometimes get tempted to play again. I have an Orc, Undead, and Gnome Warlock. Blood Elf Warlock might be interesting.

I didn't say I was going without today. Just that I have before. Lack of gameboy charger might be a problem, so I'd just have to bring a book worth rereading and the people in the program together could trade books around.

I had a dream that I saw Icewind Dale for sale in a shop in a DVD case. But was only a dream.

What are you playing now?
Has anyone here actually finished this game? I did. The most interesting (read: only) area of the game is right before the final one and can only be accessed for a limited time.

Could you mention Superman in a Spiderman comic?
Also, it's FRELLING MAGIC. Magic does what it wants. It doesn't obey rules, that's why it's MAGIC.

I'd happily volunteer. I've gone without human contact for years, this would pose no challenge.

Could you mention Superman in a Spiderman comic?
It's perfectly okay. They limit it because they don't want to seem to be endorsing anything. It could upset competing advertisers.

Could you mention Superman in a Spiderman comic?
Certainly. DC and Marvel even did a series of joint one shots under Amalgam following the Marvel vs DC crossover series. Still dislike that Superman beat the Hulk. But since it was done by fan vote, I can't contest it.

Could you mention Superman in a Spiderman comic?
I'm pretty sure Marvel and DC are on good terms, anyway.

I was promised Technicolor. New thread, so I'll update my current plans. Finish Chrono Trigger. -I'm right before Lavos doing side quests for levelups and equipment. Replay Chrono Cross. -Absolutely loved the game the first time through. The fact that it's done by a lot of the same people as Xenogears and Xenosaga doesn't hurt, either. Play Final Fantasy Tactics Advance -Started twice, never gotten far. Play Final Fantasy IV - VI -I have them all for Game Boy Advance and Playstation, plus VI for SNES (released as III). -Never finished any of them, barely touched any but VI. Replay Legend of Dragoon. -Loved it. Replay Xenogears. -My number one game of all time. Finish No One Lives Forever 2 Finish Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth Play Condemned: Criminal Origins And this is just the current schedule. I've got plenty else in the "want to play" "never finished" backlogs.

FIFE - a next generation Fallout-like engine
What am I going to do about Project#2thatwillneverbefinished. Project#1thatwillneverbefinished is just fine for Neverwinter Nights 2. But Project#2thatwillneverbefinished needs an engine that supports guns, swords, AND magic.

Could you mention Superman in a Spiderman comic?
This would actually fall under trademark. Works are copyrighted. Names are trademarked. Saying "Superman" in a Spider-Man comic would be using a trademark. Having Superman actually appear would be using something that is copyrighted. If someone where to use a building (to use from the example, a McDonald's), then the building itself can be copyrighted. However, depending upon the purpose, amount used, and whether it dimenishes the value of the original work it would fall under Fair Use. Trademark is a lot harder to infringe upon than copyright because it exists for a completely different purpose. Trademark is used to identify something as belonging to a company or otherwise seperate for other things. DC Trademarked Superman so that other companies can't go around naming other things Superman and tricking DC Superman fans from buying items that have no real relation. Maybe if you argued that Spider-Man referencing Superman confused readers into thinking that Marvel owned Superman there could be an issue, but I think that's unreasonable.

I like the consider myself an industry analyst. In that I have no experience or personal connections with the industry but I'm going to pretend I know what I'm talking about.

Could you mention Superman in a Spiderman comic?
The short answer to all of these questions is yes. The long answer depends on if it's being simply referenced or if its actually of importance to the product.

I thought 50 would be enough for a couple teams. For example, Valve has 104 and at least four teams. And I'm guessing low with that. Obsidian has 110 (according to Wikipedia, anyway). They've got at least 3 teams working right now. Aliens, Mask, and a new IP (supposedly).
