Fighters and active abilities
Dunno if it's just me, but as it is right now, fighter seems as if it's only there for other classes to multi-class into.

Please buff the Engwithan Titan
Oh? When I killed it, there were two of them that came out when it was at like half health. They were at least annoying. Hmm, maybe more come out as the fight goes on? I've only ever seen the one each time.

ShakotanSolari replied to iscalio's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)More waving hair strands? Ok, how about this: Awesome! Thanks so much p.s. Don't you know? Wavy hair strands is the big fashion in Eora right now.

Please buff the Engwithan Titan
Maybe in addition to buffing the titan itself they make a bunch of scarab beetles crawl up out of the sand behind you? That one lonely little beetle that pops up after the titan inevitably dies in the first 5 seconds of the fight really doesn't contribute much lol.

No more stat checks set arbitrarily high because they appear late in the game?
ShakotanSolari replied to PugPug's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)Yes, i really hope stat based checks will be done-away with in favour of the new skills. Athletics for strength-based checks especially, a wizard with a high might score and no training athletics shouldn't be physically stronger than a barbarian with a low might score and maxed athletics.

Character development and its effect on gameplay
ShakotanSolari replied to Tanos's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)I agree at least that casters need far more options, especially wizards and priests who lack passive abilities altogether. These classes feel like they are only half a class and playing one without multiclassing just feels... underwhelming, boring even. One of the things I loved most about casters in PoE1 was that they had so many tools available to them from the get-go, that they felt like they could contribute in any situation. I also liked that casters played and progressed differently than non-casters, reaching that point where you unlock a new spell level was satisfying in a way that just doesn't translate into the current ability tree. Every level up feels lackluster in comparison.

ShakotanSolari replied to iscalio's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)Wow Aramintai, that's some really stellar work. I messed around in photoshop and with the online editor for a bit and didn't come up with anything near that quality haha, mind giving my character a go?

how does the penetration mechanic feels like?
Yes please!! I think Tyranny had this as well (?). So much easier than searching through the combat log to see who's doing dmg and who's not, an audio queue for each character would make it so much simpler and quicker.
