Yeah that's a general rule for those TVs. Something about larger LCDs getting expensive to make. Sony is all LCD, which is why they charge a premium for their large TVs.

Yeah, some of the greatest games of all time crash occasionally. I guess they don't work.

I heard the 7950 is headache. You apparantly have to make sli profiles for the games, that don't even recognize that there are two GPUs. Go for real SLI instead.
