  1. LOL yeah, my raptor is exposed for viewing, so I get the worst of the noise, which is why I use these
  2. I was referring to desktop LCDs. As for color issues, my widescreen LCD was pretty pale, but many modern video cards provide options for color compensation, such as contrast and digital vibrance (nvidia setting, ati has similar setting called "radiance"). Setting digital vibrance to medium and pulling contrast to 110% got me satisfactory color. The only problem is the lack of true blacks, which kinda sucks when trying to play games in the dark. But it should be resolved with the next LCD generation.
  3. Well for that, you can flip the screen sideways for an uber portrait view, I don't know how many widescreen LCDs support it, but my Dell one does
  4. Umm, which work software? Programs like Word and Excel benefit from the extra real-estate.

  17. Man, Kotor runs lightning fast and on both cores flawlessly, I didn't have to do anything like other dual-core users said. Why is that?
