  1. Well, now instead of new info we've come up with lots of speculation. But give it time; new info will pop in the next couple of days and then this thread will explode again.
  2. Unbearably cool... Want game badly...
  3. No kidding. That's why I liked being able to Force Choke impudent people in the course of conversation. The trouble was, you couldn't do it very often. Sigh. Idea for KOTOR 2. Exile: I need to know about "blank"... Random Impudent Character on a World: What do you ... <<choke>> Exile: I NEED TO KNOW "BLANK"... Just random. ALl the time. Don't like the way he looked at you? Choke! She won't tell you what you need to know? Choke. Just like Vader. It's almost imperceivable, but has a very lasting impression on those who experience it.
  4. What do you think of this: When exploring the jungles on Dxun the player will be drawn to the Dark Side, and will face some of the strongest temptations yet. Within some of the ancient structures the choice can be made to bask in this power, and let it consume them, allowing the player to learn new powers that can't be found elsewhere in the game. Or, they can choose to resist the lure of the Dark Side, and stay the course towards the Light Side of the Force. Personal Opinion: Probability of special force powers from Freedon Nadd's tomb - 99.9%
  5. Here's a fascinating quote from a recent article that may have something to do with it: If you think the difference between Jedi and Sith is merely good versus evil, KOTOR 2 may change your mind. There are motivations for both sides that go well beyond simple morality. That is what sets KOTOR 2 apart from all other Star Wars games -- it forces you to reconsider the notion of Jedi, Sith, and both roles within the galaxy. What do you think?
  6. Possible. There's obviously some sort of mission that you're up to which would be very bad for them should you accomplish it. Therefore they're swarming to try and kill you. Hmm... It would be good to actually be able to become a bona fide Sith Lord in the course of the game. You know, allied with the Sith instead of the Jedi, since in KOTOR even if you were the most evil Darth Revan possible, the Sith would still fight you and die senselessly. They were far too loyal to Malak.
  7. The catfights will just arouse stronger, more protective emotions in the NPCs.
  8. Me too, probably.
  9. I'm really interested in what your "quest" will be this time... Find Revan maybe?
  10. I'll be light side first. Then dark side. Then light side again. Wash, rinse, repeat. 13 Times or so.
  11. Use Force Crush on Darth Sion (hints that that's what happened to him before...) He'll just go all to pieces...
  12. No problem.
  13. True enough.
  14. I mean PC: Player Character, not PC: Personal Computer or PC: Prince Charming.
  15. I like the Obi-Wan face for the PC.
  16. Lots of possibilities. It doesn't really even matter to me much. Either way she'll be a decent character. I'm more interested in data what don't know yet, i.e. new characters...
  17. Sion seems like he'll be a character constantly harassing your PC. Like Darth Maul in Episode I. Nihilis seems like the baddy in the background you never see and always fear. Of course, Malak lost that fear-inspiring tendency after I ground his face into the floor the first time...
  18. Well, Nihils is obviously a bigger baddie than that pansy Bandon was. I suspect that the minor villain will be Darth Feminist, or whoever she is. On the other hand, they might ALL be major villains. It looks like they're all supposed to have a big impact (most especially Sion and Nihilis).
  19. So be it. Jedi.
  20. Especially when the flakes are bits of rotten flesh...
  21. Bravo, DSM.
  22. I noticed that they changed the Sith at the end of the trailer from Sion to Nihilis. I wonder why...
