  1. Though saying that, if you go to Bioware's website today it says listed on it's games tab "new next gen game" which isn't Mass Effect or this multiplayer that is being mentioned. Depending on the way you look at it, it may be unfortunate, maybe not that there is no there information available, which may mean this is it (or then again maybe not)
  2. but what does it take to go platinum? TSL on the Xbox has sold to date 1.3 million copies, whist KOTOR sold 1.8 million
  3. If you want to be Male you are Jolee Bindo, Female you're Bastlila and then you have to trawl across the universe searching for traces of Revan, I don't think I could deal with another character who wakes up in Space not knowing who they are, the developers should now be trying to tie the strories together and that is the best way I can see it happenning, and your comrades-in-arms are found across the planet from both earlier games.
  4. Nar Shaddaa, Dxun/Onderon, Dantooine, Dxun/Onderon* Korriban (so short)
  5. don't try and kill all the mercenaries, try to run past them into the next room, once you leave the main arena, with two doors left or right, go straight on into the central room, there will be a door on the left hand side, go through it and there will be a monitor on the wall opposite where you come in, use it to open all doors and then gameplay will switch to the Exile. Hope that helps
  6. I have a fear that in KOTOR III the exile will be revealed as Malak- it would be stupid, know it would fit with what we know, he/she followed Revan of to war and no one knows for sure what became of Malak. I'm currently replaying KOTOR II and in helping the Ithorians redevelop Telos, an Ithorian says "be careful, this one has a planet's worth of hate" and my first assumption was that was a reference to Taris. I hope i'm wrong though
  7. yeah but I choose Revan to be a female so I don't even want to know how that would work
  8. not from what I recall- it was too early in the story to learn about that Rakata (in my case anyway- Korriban was the first place I went- yeah, I was brave)
  9. Yeah, you were entered into a "prison" trapped within your own mind (random) though there was another alien inside it, who has been there thousands of years and has figured out a way of getting out but he gives a challenge of riddles (easy riddles) and if you get them right you get freed- I don't know what happens if you get them wrong though
  10. If you think thats bad. I first bought KOTOR three years ago soon after it was released, I bought it on impulse really and after I started playing it wasn't whta I was expecting and after 20 minutes I gave up. Last Summer I was searching my game collection for something to play and I came across KOTOR, put it in the Xbox and became hooked and in that first session played for almost ten hours straight- this was on the Sunday and by the Friday morning I had gotten to the Star Forge (gives you an idea of how hooked I really was) though while I was getting innundated with 3,000,000 million dark jedi the game started getting jerky and then all of a sudden a message came across the screen (the game disc cannot be read...) I was mystified as I hadn't taken the disc out of the machine and behold it was scratched to hell- by the f........ xbox. So to finish the game I had to go out and buy it again. The thing was with Xbox360 just around the corner the games you could buy were limited and KOTOR I wasn't one of them, and it took me six weeks to track down a copy, I put it in the machine and with about twenty minutes of play- the game was over. Now who doesn't believe in happy endings, saying that I couldn't save Bastila though
  11. The most obvious one I thought was between KOTOR I and Episode I, and is probably the most blatent cliche in the game and is almost a carbon copy. While on Taris when you have to enter the Swoop Race and if you win you get Bastila her freedom- as in Episode if you sponsor Anakin in a swoop race and win you get his freedom. I don't think there is a more starightforward example
  12. I would be willing to bet that they are in the planning stage at least- if they are doing nothing it just wouldn't make sense. The front page of this site indicates that Obsidian is on a massive recruitment drive meaning that the company has big projects ahead- and it cannot be for anything far in development because it would be too late to bring people in a big influx of people half-way through a game. Maybe I'm looking to much into this but I do not believe for a moment that the franchise is dead, or even dormant for that matter.
  13. From the official Lucasfilm website: If you want an anwser, go straight to the top
  14. I have just been looking at the star wars official website and I was looking through the database of basically every star wars character ever devised, for example it had Carth, Bastila and Malak and it gives a backstory on each. They make passing references to Revan, though he/she doesn't has its own listing- which may just indicate that Revan's story is incomplete, and if it is incomplete, then that may just signal at some point or another Star Wars:Knights of the Old Republic III. http://www.starwars.com/databank/character/ to see what I mean
