As the title says. When failing the recharge check on Orb of Ice, it's discarded instead of buried. This has happened every time Lem used the thing. Not sure if the same applies to the other Orbs but I'm guessing yes. ---- Android 6.0.1 on Nvidia Shield tablet K1 PFID #EC19BBE1B715AFA6 Story mode, Legendary difficulty Pass and play off, permadeath on Party of six

On the subject of "closing the game makes weird states happen: after making this bug report, and upon returning to the game and succeeding at the combat check against the Harpy Monk, it gave me another, identical combat check, except this time acting as though Kyra had failed the Wisdom check. And after succeeding at that, it skipped the course option and tried to end the turn, which only resulted in a progression break. And then, after a VRT, it gave me another combat check for Kyra acting as though she'd failed the wisdom check, except with the cards in the state they were in after all that other stuff. And then it finally did the Retaliation roll (which it didn't any of the other times) and let me close the location. So at least it did that.
-
I expect it's due to the Temple anyway, it's hard to be sure without seeing the code though... Anyway, so Harsk and Kyra are in the Temple, and Kyra encounters a Harpy Monk. Then in turn order (since I just pushed the arrow whenever the order choice dialog came up): *Kyra uses a blessing to pass the check *Ezren fails the check, moves to the Temple, and discards a card *Lem skips the check entirely (which is actually annoying, since I wanted him to fail) *Valeros fails the check, moves to the Temple, and does NOT discard *Merisiel fails, moves, and discards *Harsk skips the check ---- Android 6.0.1 on Nvidia Shield tablet K1 PFID #EC19BBE1B715AFA6 Story mode, The Black Tower, Legendary difficulty, Retaliation and An Ill Wind Pass and play off, permadeath on All characters except Harsk and Kyra are at the closed City Gate Harsk is first in turn rotation (but that probably doesn't matter)

Continuing on from this, but probably not related... Okay, so I load the game up after making the bug report, discard the card for Lem. It returns to Kyra but it's showing the Scarnetti Manor background instead of Sandpoint Cathedral (though it still says Sandpoint Cathedral in the location header area), and she's encountering Soul Soap instead of the Ghoul Bat(which, I later confirmed, was the top card in the Scarnetti Manor deck). This is obviously incorrect, so I make a VRT. When I return, the background is correct and she's now encountering the Bat, but the card isn't visible and the check is a Dex 11 check instead of combat. Another deload/reload and even a full app closure doesn't change this situation so I go ahead and make the check. The defeat animation plays over the top of the deck and the Cathedral let's me pull a blessing from discard, but when I explore again it's the bat again. ---- Android 6.0.1 on Nvidia Shield tablet K1 PFID #EC19BBE1B715AFA6 Story mode, Sandpoint Under Siege, Legendary difficulty, Night Approaches and Mother Father Snakes Pass and play off, permadeath on Party of Lem, Valeros, Ezren, Kyra, Merisiel, and Harsk

So, this is one where it's unclear whether or not it is a bug. I figured I'll just report it and let the forum fight it out. So, during Sandpoint Under Siege, Kyra encounters Ghoul Bat at Sandpoint Cathedral. Lem gets to be the "lucky" one that encounters Longtooth. He fights with a magic weapon and narrowly loses. The weapon is buried and he's forced to discard. (Which is definitely the wrong order, since Ghoul Bat says bury the magic things at the end of the encounter.) But, should it have been buried at all? It was played while Ghoul Bat was out, but not as part of its encounter. So....? ---- Android 6.0.1 on Nvidia Shield tablet K1 PFID #EC19BBE1B715AFA6 Story mode, Sandpoint Under Siege, Legendary difficulty, Night Approaches and Mother Father Snakes Party of Lem, Valeros, Ezren, Kyra, Merisiel, and Harsk

Harsk is in the City Gate, encounters a cave bear. Valeros summons Longtooth, he and Lem roll their dodges, both fail but prevent the damage; Longtooth's combat check is narrowly failed, that damage also prevented. Back to Harsk, who is suddenly encountering a Zombie Nest instead of the cave bear, and the bear is shown on top of the deck. Upon examining the bear is the second card in the deck (below the nest). Then, after fighting the Zombie Minion, a progression break occurs. VRT returns to the zombie minion check, with all cards used returned, and another progression break after completing the check. ---- Android 6.0.1 on Nvidia Shield tablet K1 PFID #EC19BBE1B715AFA6 Story mode, Sandpoint Under Seige, Legendary difficulty, Fortified Position and Darkest Night Pass and play off, permadeath on Party of Harsk, Lem and Valeros(Scarnetti Manor), Merisiel, Ezren, and Kyra.

The button lights up, and the sound plays when I push it, but nothing else happens. This is the first time I've tried to use it so I don't know if it's interference from the scenario's start of turn action. ---- Android 6.0.1 on Nvidia Shield tablet K1 PFID #EC19BBE1B715AFA6 Story mode, Sandpoint Under Seige, Legendary difficulty, Fortified Position and Darkest Night Pass and play off, permadeath on Party of six

I pulled an Evangelist from a treasure chest last night, but when I checked it out in the Vault it wasn't there. Which is particularly disappointing because I wanted to use that card. I don't have any theories as to why. It just disappeared. --- Android 6.0.1 on Nvidia Shield tablet K1 PFID #EC19BBE1B715AFA6

Hmm, my Wand just duplicated too. It was last night so I'm a little fuzzy on the details but I think it was used on the final Villain fight, and I know for a fact I never rolled a recharge for it. --No, wait, it must have been earlier because I remember looking for it and not seeing it in bury. Maybe one of the earlier Villain fights though? I think it was on the same check that Heat Metal somehow transferred itself from Lem's to Valeros's deck. Maybe if we all work together we can figure out what causes the duplication! ---- Android 6.0.1 on Nvidia Shield tablet K1 PFID #EC19BBE1B715AFA6 Story mode, The Ancient Library, Heroic difficulty, Fortified Position Party of Lem and Valeros; they usually stick together but this might have been a rare case of them being in different locations.

I guess it probably extends to all summons. Anyway yeah undead monsters summoned as part of a horde aren't counted toward the number of undead defeated. I mean I don't really mind because it would be a lot harder with them but it is a bug ---- Android 6.0.1 on Nvidia Shield tablet K1 PFID #EC19BBE1B715AFA6 Story mode, The Ancient Library, Heroic difficulty, Fortified Position Party of Lem and Valeros

Encounter Ghoul Bat in Garrison with Ezren, Kyra is also there. Kyra fights summon with Piercer of Thorns, it gets buried. Ezren fights original with Acid Arrow, Kyra supports with Blessing of Sarenrae. Obviously it's defeated. Ezren successfully recharges Acid Arrow. Kyra recharges Blessing. Then ... Progression break. A prompt says "confirm this action" but no action can be confirmed. Try a VRT, and when I come back the bat is gone and the only prompt is "Close this location?" (the bat was the last card in the deck) The Acid Arrow is still in Ezren's deck. ---- Android 6.0.1 on Nvidia Shield tablet K1 PFID #EC19BBE1B715AFA6 Story mode, Under Jorgenfist, Normal difficulty Pass and play and permadeath both off Party of Merisiel, Kyra and Ezren

The Harpy Monk works differently, though - the Wisdom check comes before the combat check, so step one and two are combined. I suspect it's different enough it'd have its own code. Anyway, it's a theory but it wouldn't let me play the two Mirror Images that were in my hand so I think it's not quite on the nose. I'm not sure what you're saying about not getting a discard prompt. I did get a prompt, it was just such a high number I had to discard my whole hand (even with a Sihedron amulet). Arcane Armor wasn't the last thing I discarded either. I wasn't paying enough attention to be sure if it reduced by one or two though. Still my money's on something being wonky in Arcane Armor's recharge trigger rather than a problem with which spells are restricted. Maybe something they did to allow recharging if you're only taking one damage?
-
Look at it recharging all wrapped up in chains. Anyway yeah encountered Harpy Monk failed wisdom check and therefore also combat check discarded whole hand and Arcane Armor popped up with a recharge option (and check). ---- Android 6.0.1 on Nvidia Shield tablet K1 PFID #EC19BBE1B715AFA6 Story mode, The Black Tower, normal difficulty Pass and play and permadeath both off Party of Merisiel, Kyra and Ezren, all in City Gate after the harpy's checks

On Mountain Peak with Merisiel, use Potion of Ruggedness on start of turn check. Confirm, and then it tells me "bury a card". I can find no other reason why that should have occurred than that the potion failed to grant the check success. ---- Android 6.0.1 on Nvidia Shield tablet K1 PFID #EC19BBE1B715AFA6 Story mode, The Black Tower, normal difficulty Pass and play and permadeath both off Party of, in turn order, Merisiel, Kyra (also on mountain peak), and Ezren (just moved from Mountain Peak to City Gate, after giving Merisiel the potion)

Playing with Ezren, encountered a giant, play Force Missile then change my mind and pull it back in favor of a better spell. Amiri and Harsk are both at the Village House. Amiri encounters a Trapped Passageway, fails the check and dies. Next turn, Harsk encounters Erylium. No prompt is given for who to encounter the Sinspawn (since he is the only character at the location) and the Wisdom check comes up - with Amiri as the roller. She fails the check, and the combat check does not come up; it goes straight to rolling the post-Sinspawn-encounter blessing die, and then proceeds to Harsk's Elyrium encounter. -- Android 6.0.1 on Nvidia Shield tablet K1 PFID #EC19BBE1B715AFA6 Story mode, Trouble in Sandpoint, Legendary difficulty, Darkest Night and Full Packs Party of, in order, Seoni (died at Village House earlier), Amiri, and Harsk.
