Buried treasure Disappeared
Pediatron replied to Zeromanex's question in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
Thanks for the screenshot. Still don't have it on either my ipad or my iphone. Bummer, would have bought it (although it is so rare to get anything I don't already have with almost all Legendary items left) -
Buried treasure Disappeared
Pediatron replied to Zeromanex's question in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
I keep hearing of people seeing a buried treasure option (perhaps 20,000 gold for $5). Has anyone actually gotten it to work? I would go for that one, but have never seen it on my game. -
Barl Breakbones Bug (3x to Defeat?)
Pediatron replied to Bajie's question in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
I am sure the developers fix as many bugs as they can every update. My purpose for the FYI was just to keep this one as a known bug. -
Barl Breakbones Bug (3x to Defeat?)
Pediatron replied to Bajie's question in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
Just an FYI -- this bug is still a problem. Ezren fighting Barl Breakbones in Quest mode - beat him twice (threw everything party had at him on second fight) then pauses and requires a third battle (didn't have much left and lost). Don't remember location (although closing requirement was to banish a card). Seelah was in same location with him at the time of the battle. -
I don't know of any strategy guides, but just finished the AD4 Legendary scenarios. I kept Ezren for all of them (he is faster at going through decks than any other character and I loaded him with scrying and augury to find the villians/henchmen faster.) I then used 2 more character for each scenario -- Valeros when the bad guys mostly needed strength to defeat and usually LIni for her wisdom and add ons to dice checks to close locations. I switched to Ezren, Lem and Lini to fight the harpy monks and succeeded on the first try -- the harpy monks tend to bring the characters together which actually helps beat them. Good luck!

When the D12 rolls after recharging the Charmed Red Dragon, the die always shows 12 and another number just shows up on the screen. I'm assuming the number showing up is the real die roll, thought it was a coincidence with the 12s at first til I noticed the other number on the screen (haven't rolled a 1 yet)

Thanks for all the feedback. Ended up tossing out Seoni in favor of Lini - doing well with the party - just one more legendary AD4 to go to finish up (the one with the monk harpys). Doing some 3 player Ezren, Valeros and Lini for Legendary - Ezren goes through the decks with Augury and Scrying and can kill off a villian or henchmen on his own, Valeros provides pure power and Lini closes stuff and deals with all the wisdom checks.

I've been playing with Ezren, Valeros, Seelah, Merisel, Lem, and Seoni as a 6 player group and done very well in both story and quest mode. With all this time to kill waiting for AD4 I have leveled up Lini and Amiri all the way and am close on Sajan (I just didn't like Harsk and Kyra enough to bother) Would anyone recommend swapping out from my original party one or more characters? (I have been pretty impressed with Lini - that add on to EVERY dice roll is huge -- and adding wild warden role is just going to make her stronger as divine caster - so i'm leaning towards adding her in, but not sure who to knock out) Amiri vs Valeros seems to be a wash. I hate burying a card and her movement power only seems useful in legendary. Comments would be appreciated -- thanks!

I also am against the free to play concept. I think the first group of scenarios and characters should be free so players can decide whether or not to invest. After that, it is reasonable to charge for everything else in real money. There are few games out there with as hefty a price tag for the entire game that allow a free to play player to purchase EVERYTHING. Add in the problem of slow development of new updates and most of us that bought the game could have gotten everything by now just with the playing we have done while waiting for new decks. The developers are cheating themselves out of some decent money. AND if all players had paid, then perhaps the gold system could be more generous and allow those legendary cards to show up easier and actually be able to play with them before the entire adventure finishes. I hate the idea of spending the $25 on the game, spending $2 per month on the daily gold (which i do just to continue to support the game) but then to have to buy additional chests when the few items i have left to see are almost all legendary -- just doesn't make sense and leaves me disappointed. -

I admit I am disappointed -- I keep logging in a few times per day hoping to see a new post re AD4. In the meantime, it has been pretty fun looking at the new deck 4 cards by playing Quest with my level 40 characters -- a lot of the cards that are coming do look pretty cool! -
No Orik's Shield reward
Pediatron replied to Noasarc's question in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
Does anyone know if these cards show up in chests also - or are they ONLY awards for finishing Legendary scenarios? (I have all but the last one and honestly don't remember if I did everything on Legendary) -
No Orik's Shield reward
Pediatron replied to Noasarc's question in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
Can someone clarify which cards unlock for each legendary adventure finish (from above i am guessing Orik's shield is one) Also how can you tell if your party has completed a particular scenario on Legendary? Thanks -

Have to admit I was hoping for days rather than weeks - a bit more disappointed than excited with the news. -

How do you reveal a weapon using that method? -

Hmm, never said the current UI was trash or really felt that my comments were complaints. Just commented it worked better on my ipad before the change. The layering means I often can't see my entire set of cards for some characters with large hand size. I have gotten better on guessing where the reveal vs discard vs bury buttons SHOULD BE next to the cards so I don't have to go to the vault every time I use a card, but this is a bit of a pain. Had an armor I had to discard instead of reveal because the monster that attacked me was covering the reveal option. So just a bunch of little things that make the game a bit less fun since the update. On the other hand, I was able to download it to my iphone which could be nice if I don't have my ipad with me or no wifi. I also finally got the dice to equip in story mode. Hopefully comments and suggestions won't be attacked as any more than what they intended -- to make the game better. I am assuming that's why we are all on the forum. -
Equipping dice causes game to exit
Pediatron replied to Pediatron's question in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
Just an update on this -- since the latest patch I HAVE been able to equip dice for my story party. Thanks! -
I'm guessing this is going to be controversial but IMO that is what forum's are for: Right now it seems that a player playing for free who has a lot of time and energy for the game can acquire everything that a person who buys the entire game gets. They must spend a ton of time to do so and will get everything much more slowly. They even can get all of the extra material found in all the chests. My gut feeling is that this puts the developers in a difficult position on how to continue to cover their costs and even make a bit of profit (like every businessman should). Likely it will force them to continue to devalue gold as the main incentive for people to pay into the game. I bring this up because I feel it has already started on a very small level with the changes discussed for purchasing chests (making the same amount of gold buy less). The big negative I see is that this hurts the paying players more than those who really need to use their gold for characters and scenarios first (although with such a long wait between scenarios - i'm guessing everyone could have accumulated enough gold to buy everything by now!) Back to the original question -- should there perhaps be a different currency for those who have purchased the full game. Realistically all they can spend that currency on is chests while those playing free to play are spending the same currency on everything else in the game. At some point the developers are going to need to raise the (gold) price of everything in order to incentivize people to put some money into the game. I would rather this not affect those that already bought the (still incomplete) game.

Don't some apps have different versions for tablets vs phones. I really liked to previous UI and although I can now play on my iphone, I would rather have kept the old version and lost that ability. Better would be having a version that works for each. -
Changes on some dice
Pediatron replied to MauGibrin's topic in Pathfinder Adventures: General Discussion (No Spoilers!)
Hematite was one of my favorites -- sorry to see it go. Pale sun really isn't much to look at. Not sure why the change was made.
