  2. You were playing story mode not quest mode. Also, if a character dies it doesn't get a reward
  3. Well the title of the poll is: What are the most difficult characters to play? Seems pretty self explanatory to me. Also, as evidenced by the poll, it's completely subjective. Hence why the OP is looking for the community opinion. For example I completely disagree with your assessment that Lem is the hardest character to play. I love his vast arrays of abilities. He's equally viable alone or as a booster. Seoni and Kyra weak? Are you kidding?!?! My Seoni is a beast. Just bring some self healing cards (Father Zantus, staff minor healing) and she can't die since she auto-recharges almost everything. Kyra is a bane to the undead, and outsiders later. We rarely use her to heal other folks, we try to be as self-sufficient as possible so Kyra becomes a boosting machine with all her blessings. Lem is usually our more dedicated healer, or Seelah. On the flip side, my group finds Sajan to be the hardest to play. So many blessing that would be very useful to help the team but he can't handle combat on his own if he does. And he doesn't really excel at anything so he's always needed help. We'd rather bring Harsk or Merisiel. But again, I love that everyone has their own opinion/play style and that what works for one doesn't have to work for everyone.
  4. Above where it lists the check value you are attempting will be a dimly glowing "power" button. Select this and it'll allow you to select a different character to perform the current check.
  5. You seem to be implying that you are taking damage from those two lost checks. Assuming you lost your entire hand to the initial damage, you now can't take any further damage because you have no cards left in hand to discard.
  6. Android here. All I did was login with the same google account and everything showed up
  7. Also, just because someone can't complete a daily challenge doesn't mean there's a problem with the challenge system. The challenges are there for those who wan't to do them. If you don't want to, don't. If you can't, then the challenge isn't for you. I don't want the daily challenges turned into non-challenges by allowing them to sit around. Maybe the devs will introduce 3-day duration challenges. Some will be just as easy as the current ones for those who don't/can't log in every day. Others will be harder, multi-part challenges for folks like me. Not all content has to be accessible to all play styles.
  8. This is the problem with opinions: Yours: Mine: I'm a customer. I'm allowed to apply feedback and want things. This is how capitalism and being a consumer works. (These last two aren't actually accurate, but we'll ignore them for now) The game would be terrible if they implemented wakasm's ideas. See the problem? You argue that Obsidian should implement something because you like it in another game. Great. You've voiced your opinion. Good job. But this isn't another game. And the Obsidian devs, while grateful I'm sure for feedback, don't need you to tell them how to do their job. I think the current system is great. And there's a reason I play this game instead of others like Hearthstone. I don't like the way other games are designed and I do this game. But my opinion doesn't trump yours, it's just different. And no, you'll never convince me that your opinion is better.
  9. I disagree that there's an issue. The only party setups that might not be able to complete any adventure might be solo setups. But even the Paizo devs have indicated that the adventures aren't balanced around solo play, nor do they intend them to be. They also freely state that if you play solo, which is completely supported, and you encounter a completely unbeatable encounter, that you are free to modify the encounter by drawing a new card to encounter. Granted this isn't supported by the app. In fact, here's the relevant text from the physical game rulebook (page 19): (emphasis mine) STRATEGY: ADVICE FOR SOLO PLAY Solo play is particularly good for quickly completing scenarios to advance your character if you want to catch up to other players. Not all characters should be considered equal for solo play. For example, Lem is quite good at helping other characters—but when there are no other characters, he’s a lot less useful. Ezren doesn’t have any blessings, so when no one else can give him any, his progress might be inhibited. Merisiel, on the other hand, is great for solo play, because she gains bonuses when no one is at her location. You can also play multiple characters if you like; we suggest you try solo play with 2 characters. Treat each character as if he were being played by a separate player (so if you’re playing Sajan and Valeros, advance the blessings deck at the start of Sajan’s turn and a t the start of Valeros’s turn). Some cards are particularly difficult in solo play. If your character can’t ever get out of the Treacherous Cave, your scenario will grind to a halt. When you encounter such a card, remove it from the game and replace it with another card of the same type that roughly matches its power level but isn’t quite so impossible to overcome Here a quote from Mike the original creator himself: https://boardgamegeek.com/article/12933427#12933427 It is definitely true, though, that we designed many elements of the game to challenge multiple characters at the same time. Every now and then, you'll hit something that your solo character just can't make it through, and we wanted to give you the option of, rather than tossing out that entire session, just drawing something else you think is about the same difficulty and move on. (You don't have to take that option, of course.) Mike But regardless, I don't think it's accurate to say it's an issue that that some adventures are impossible to complete with any party setup. Especially since it's not been proven that there is such a setup that would be unable to complete every adventure.
