  1. I also harbor a significant desire to send Eldar a fruit basket.
  2. There you go, dawg http://www.gamershell.com/download_505.shtml Though this one is pretty outdated (about 5 yrs old). The new games have a much more refined interface, better AI, etc. Make sure to properly read the manual that comes attached. If you go in without knowing how to play, you'll just waste your time.
  3. ... I have pen and paper in hand formulating a battleplan. <3 wargames
  4. Oh, you haven't done it yet? Many lessons learnt from the first battle. I'm taking my time to set things up this time. BTW, it's now raining. I hope your tanks don't bog down
  5. It's a setup phase, I'm carefully exploring my options. Take a chill pill, playa. PBEM = best PvP ever.
  6. I'm playing his Xbox too.
  7. It'd kind of offset the point of the game, though. I don't play it sp nearly enough to warrant playing it in awesome mode.
  8. You shut your face. Yeah, I could really see Airborne Assault mp go places. Not even remotely twitch, but there's no room to doze off, either, as it'd all be happening in 'real-time'. I'd be against pause in this case. As cool as HOI2 mp would be, I'm not convinced it wouldn't be more trouble than it's worth. But then, that's because I mega-micro. The game is paused all the time. I have ALL the events set on autopause. ALL of them.
  9. I don't hide human body parts in my pillow, if that's what you're trying to imply. In fact, I have no idea whatsoever you're talking about.
  10. There is. It works with (pausable) continuous time, order delays (with staff overload and such) and AI chains of command, so it could technically be played as a 'RTS'. You can't PBEM this one, as it'd have to be a live session, though. Only, since it might take a few hours in-game before any of your orders get implemented, you can't twitch your way to victory.
  11. NHL

    I still believe!
  12. Just be thankful I'm giving you the opportunity to wallow in self-pity tonight. You'll get your update tomorrow when I have the time.
  13. <3 Airborne Assault - Conquest of the Aegean
  14. Shut up, I got the view-only phase.
  15. Or Subway's!
  16. War, war never changes.
  17. Hehe, we'll see. We'll see. *strokes beard in contemplation*
  18. You can't directly interact with any kind of air support in the game. It's just 'there' if the battle calls for it. I must say, I'm really enjoying the WEGO system. Probably more so that 'pure' TB PBEM. Though, actually, come to think of it, none of the wargames I'm playing are pure hex-based TB.
  19. Hahahaahahahahahaha Oilers
  20. Freaking jerks. This isn't a tutorial, it's a slaughter.
  21. Hmm, let's see. I'm slowly going through the scenarios in Take Command - 2nd Manassas and Hearts of Iron II - Doomsday (the campaigns - the 1936 one, specifically - will have to wait until I'm done with the scenarios). I just got Airborne Assault - Conquest of the Aegean yesterday, so I'm still going through the bloody 500-page manual before tackling the tutorials. As for the Combat Mission games, I'm going through Beyond Overlord against the AI, and mopping the floor with alanschu's face via PBEM in Barbarossa to Berlin. Africa Korps is currently on hold. I'm also going through Ocarina of Time. Just about to tackle the first dungeon as adult Link.
