Combat Mission games
Haha. I'm game if you are. We'll do them in chronological order naturally. We'll see if your vaunted T-34 is a match for my big and heavy Tiger! The one thing that seems to be missing from games like these (by these I mean Close Combat as well), is the importance of air support. No real way to get it to work I guess. It would be cool if I had to worry about those pesky Ilyushin-2 Shturmoviks!

Ok. Try to get a range of operations to sort of quasi simulate the war. I imagine you can pick timeframes and whatnot. Kursk is a must

Combat Mission games
I haven't gotten them quite yet (though I should have, as I could be downloading them while at work! Doh!) I'm just going to get the bundle for now. CMBB and CMAK.

Why direct-download game distribution > publishers
*bump* (up a whole one thread in the crazy popular Devs Corner forum). It seems as though Battlefront.com is having a sale of 30 days at 30% off for most of their games purchased through direct download.

Combat Mission games
Okay. CMBB came out first, we'll start with that. I've heard that the damage model in BB is much improved over BO, so we'll stick with that.

Combat Mission games
Okay. Are we just sticking with the bundle, or were you hoping to get things started with Beyond Overlord?

What? The dutch want to legalize homosexuality? And I certainly did not flame you in the "Dutch thread" because I have no idea what thread is the dutch thread. And I'm rather sensitive about my flatulence problem. I'd rather you didn't bring it up in the future.

You have already called me a racist. Not sure what the heck you're talking about with the rest of your post. You're saying it's OK to talk about animal sex and to call me gay on this site? What?

Well, you did call me and all of my friends anti-Islamic racists. Sorry if that didn't go over well with me. Your use of the English language is rather crude, as in you seem insistent on talking about the phallus. References to pilots masterbating, and spy satellites to count the number of hairs on the testicles of terrorists don't do much to endear me. I call people that come onto forums, insult the users of that forum by calling them racists little kids trolls. Hence why I called you one.

Want a new CRPG.
Then don't go implying how people that play Diablo 2 aren't deep and how people "hold back" the gaming industry. Because it does nothing to dissuade Eldar's claims of elitism. And who's using the strawman? It looks very much like your position is to criticize those that play games like Diablo (even if it was in response to Eldar's statement) Which is exactly the part I challenged. Even if you were just arguing that you didn't like Diablo 2, then there was no need to start insulting the people that play the game. I figured you were inspired by my use of the English language. Because, as I mentioned, people find it fun. My words specifically were "Because it's a simple game with minimal learning curve for the significantly vast majority of people that don't have hours upon hours to invest into videogaming. More importantly, people find it FUN!!!" There are many very popular games that I don't like, but it doesn't mean that I can't see the appeal of it. If you can't figure out what's appealing about it, then I guess that's your problem. I have no problems with people disagreeing with me. I have problems when people say stuff like "Dismiss people who don't find games like that interesting as RPG elitists all you want, but it could very well be they're just gamers who understand gameplay should have moved on past fairly mediocre games of the 80's like Gauntlet." Sorry if I misconstrued your point (sorry mkreku, but he is calling me a liar): You then modified it to this shortly afterwards. What did I make up again?

You claim that you come specifically onto the internet to waste time, are exceptionally liberal with insults, and you come onto a video game forum of all places. As if you aren't a kid. (A troll at the very least) I particularly love the "u seem racist" and "u suck" comments "hidden messages." I mean, what are the odds that you can take random letters and make a different thead. We bow before the almighty intellect of people that talk about pilots masterbating and the balls of terrorists. And yes...Canada definitely has spy satellites. In fact, our space industry is absolutely thriving. And secret! So secret you can't actually see where the rockets take off....nobody knows where they come from! I think you're just an anti-West, anti-Christian person that has been so mislead to think that all Western/Christian people are out to get you. I pity you Onur. Not only are you not actually courageous, you've been brainwashed. In other news, I vote lockdown as well as examine the possibility of a ban.

ATI and AMD Merger
I wonder if they'll find a way to make the acronym recursive. I always like ATI's (which stands for ATI Technologies Incorporated )). If the article is correct it sounds more like AMD would be utilizing ATI's fab facilities for AMD processors. Given finite production, it sounds like ATI chipset supply would be taking a bit of a hit, as there'd be less fab time for ATI graphics chipsets. Though this would ignore any innovations AMD may have in producing chips, as well as any technology sharing between the two companies both in terms of wafer production as well as chip engineering. In the end, I see it as a mutually beneficial for both sides.

Apparently you conveniently forgot: After this statement, it is completely obvious that you don't consider yourself better. Seriously, you get offended when people defend themselves when you start claiming that they aren't as deep, intelligent, progressive, or as evolved as you? Grow some thick skin if you want to proclaim that you are somehow superior to people. Sounds like you're doing the same thing bub. It's easy why. Because it's a simple game with minimal learning curve for the significantly vast majority of people that don't have hours upon hours to invest into videogaming. More importantly, people find it FUN!!! If you can't understand why people have different tastes than you, then that is your problem. One that you should probably rectifiy before going all holier-than-thou and implying that other people are essentially not as developed/evolved/whatever as you are. It's also the same guy that says PC gaming is cheaper than console gaming.
