  1. The "only-one-bonus-across-all-items" restriction is just awful. Please remove it, thanks. Also there only needs to a HARD MAX of 10 skills learned per character. Even 5 per character is a decent amount. Don't need 1000 spells on priest and wizard, it really makes those classes boring and not very diverse.
  2. Easily the worst thing about PoE was all of the bugs. It was and still is actually horrendously buggy... Just when I thought they had ironed out all of the bugs by the second expansion, I was hit by two. One was that the monks got my main character stuck in a wall. I used a cheat code to resolve this (didn't want to reload) and continued to play. Two was what made me quit: The wall puzzle in the Hall of SIlence didn't actually do anything. (I used the back entrance to get in).
  3. Well, since you could cast infinite seals (priest) when i played about a week after release, it's much harder I had to throw out all of my story characters and custom build everything to beat him. Took like 6 hours total!
  4. I had to respec my characters to beat him Concelhaut was a cakewalk in comparison
  5. It's not an MMO thing at all. Just play it and see for yourself. It has almost nothing in common with Bind on Equip if that's what you're thinking. Yes, it does get bound to a character, it levels up, and you can sever it and use it on another character but it needs to be leveled up again.
  6. No, it's not a cool idea. I had no idea... This is a MMO mechanic that doesn't belong in a single player game. MMO's use it to keep you grinding for rare items for your guild, instead of burning through content on hand-me-downs. If you've got a party of 6 different classes in a single player game, at most one melee hands down to another, and for a very limited time too. If this is truly like what happens in MMO's, it's just nonsensical. Edit: Don't misunderstand my statement. I'm not saying that because I can't do something I want to. I haven't even started the expansion yet. What I am saying is that it's like this... In an MMO, say a top raid item drops for a warrior and you have 3 good warriors in the guild. Of course they all want it, which is why systems like DKP are put into place. And those warriors have to make a hard choice about whether to use their points or save them in case something else good drops later in the raid. In a single player game, if the same thing happens and I have two fighters in the party... It's not a big deal. I just give it to the least well equipped one and wait for something else to drop. After all, I control both of them and it's no skin off my nose. See? There is no "hard choice", and that makes it a meaningless mechanic to the player. Personally, I won't lose any sleep over it. Except maybe, why didn't they put that effort into some other feature? I'd compare it more to disgaea than an MMO... you literally level up an item and can severe the soul binding whenever you want. It's fine, it just works less well in a game where there's limited enemies.
  7. 1.) In a sequel or a patch, please make it more clear which mods from items are being suppressed and which are not. TOOLTIPS! I know you can look in the character screen to find this, but that's quite a bit of digging to find it. Or.... you can just remove the restriction altogether! It feels weirdly arbitrary and limiting... 2.) Please add repeatable (read infinite) combat areas, even if it is a simple/silly area like a training area in your stronghold.
  8. I've been using it by itself and it seems quite good even without stacking it with other modals ( I didn't even know this was possible!)
  9. No offense, but this expansion would have been received ten times better if it had just continued seamlessly from where a lot of us left off (at the end of the game). I have several friends who won't buy it because they don't want to deal with loading from some weird save that isn't their last one in the final area. It also feels less cool that the end is already known when you start WM. I'm happy that the PoE universe is expanding though...
  10. There are lot of bugs and oddities in the retraining to this day. Actually there are still quite a few bugs left in this game in general. Your issue has been around since day 1 when I retrained using console commands. Also, I retrained my ranger today and it gave my bear companion skills to my ranger and gave me bonding grief even though the bear was alive and well... And another bug, I retrained my fighter yesterday and now he has a permanent -20 concentration in his ability list.
  11. Soulbound weapons are a cool idea, but unfortunately have a number of issues. The biggest issue is that I started playing WM at level 12 from my first playthrough and I had cleared every monster in the game. There aren't enough monsters to level up the weapons without me starting a new game. I wish there was some kind of training grounds maybe in Caed Nua that let me fight low level monsters or something. As it is, the soulbound weapons only work if you get them early enough in the playthrough... To clarify, I had also done all the bounty quests previously from Caed Nua.
