Yes. Also he's actually worse at hockey than the English language now. Imagine that...
  3. Bob Dylan - Joey I actually always found Desire one of Dylan's most overrated albums, but it's still a pretty decent record I suppose.

I'm happier to see Hatcher struggle. I already said that. I'll say it again; I'm really happy to see Hatcher struggle.

  10. I would not like it if Tigh got visions of Ellen since those kooky visions that Baltar (and #6) has are one of the more annoying elements on the show in my opinion. Ellen might have been a cylon, though; remember episode nine of the first season, where Ellen was first introduced? At the end, Baltar's own little personal imaginary cylon babe asked him what the test really showed, and he replied something like "I'll never tell." As someone suggested these models may be unique, but why would they waste a model like they did Ellen in that case? Then, on the other hand, why would they imply that Ellen was a cylon and leave it dangling at that? There's obviously going to be more plot twists with cylon revelations up ahead, so what usual suspects do we have? Starbuck? Gaeta? Dualla? Starbuck would the obvious let-down. They'd have to come up with a really good explanation. *scratches off list* Gaeta. Well now there's a thought. Some friends of mine have argued that he has no real connections to anyone and remains a bit of a loner. Having had his reputation redeemed following those collaboration accusations (I hated that witch hunt and it made me sick seeing what Starbuck had become - good television, though), he's the perfect guy to bring out of the closet now that people will be less prone to expect it. Dualla had some bad business with Roslin's pet Billy, which obiviously shouldn't go unpunished. She might be a cylon agent. I'm just thinking that maybe the other five cylon models can age and stuff like that, which would make virtually anyone a possible cylon, including the Adamas and others. Can't wait to see.
  11. YES. Yes. I hate them to. Fills me with an urge to kill something. Preferably them.

Too bad Magoo wasn't very successful fighting his own spastics. That's the worst call I've seen in any sport; the only thing that comes close was in a football game here in Sweden where a player on my favourite team got booked for diving when he was on a stretcher with an injured shoulder.

I got the impression they'll be free if you watch a crappy stream with commercials, and it's only the downloadable version without the ads that costs money. The problem is that games only come up after 48 hours, which kinda eliminates the whole point of them to me. I can't bare myself to watch a game that I already know the score of, and have never understood that perversion in people, and I'll very rarely stay away from all NHL-related news for that long just to catch a game.

    SNOW!!!!

Actually, there is this meltable hotel up in the north. Haven't been there, but it's supposed to be kinda neat. There is an ice bar here in Stockholm, though, which I haven't visited either, but they hand out warm clothes and stuff to keep you warm. Stockholm won't be white for too long, though. It usually melts away pretty quickly and then it's just rainy until January.

    SNOW!!!!

We're getting it here too now. Thin snow is starting fall on the streets like powder; Stockholm, Sweden is officially turning white.
  19. I'm wearing nothing but a damp robe, a[n attitude] and a shifty smirk. It's good to be me. Edited for PG rating.
  20. What's Intertron? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Errm ... the internet. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> So why not say "Internet"? Why "Intertron"? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Are you serious?

It is still their choice. It's not like the world stops if they don't play in the NHL. Playing in the NHL is a privilege that is subject to certain rules specific to their organization, and if a player doesn't like the rules they can play elsewhere. Which ultimately is their own problem and something they'll have to evaluate themselves. How is something "akin" to physical violence illegal? Hold on, are you saying that what they are doing on NHL rinks is illegal? And if so, how come the NHL hasn't been punished for their illegal practice and how can you be so immoral as to follow it? Hahaha! I'm not sure you're aware of it, but you can be really funny in a not-so-charming way.

You are so PERCEPTIVE. I was mocking your grasp of the options available to a player. The draft will assign the rights to sign a certain player to a certain team. This is the agreement among NHL clubs to ensure a fairer playing field; clubs are effectively giving up the chance to go after any player in order to avoid mercenary activity among not-yet-so-levelheaded youngsters. The players then have the option to sign with the club that drafted them or sit out until they become eligible for the draft again. They can also go the FCP route and demand their rights to be traded. If they don't like this draft situation at all they can play in another league. The NHL has a draft system, so if you want to play in the NHL you go through the draft. If I want to work at Volvo I go to an interview and hope to get the job, and the point is that you can't always choose or like the rules of a certain organization. You might as well start complaining about on-ice rules: "I don't like the hooking penalty; players should be allowed to hook because they're living in a free world and hooking isn't against the law." Call it a silly comparison, but it's exactly the same thing. I just threw up a little.
