  1. Is it really a lie if things change because of unexpected developments? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Reread Akaris post and tell me if you think thats really the case <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Oh silly me, I forgot that Akari and the development team know the precise date & time when both versions of the game will be ready to be shipped. Expectations can always change. Even then, the PC version was going to be out in February anyway; if you're not going to play the X-Box version what does it really matter when that one will come out?
  2. Paranoia isn't really a valid argument to state it's "intentional." You seem insistant that they "intentionally lied" about release. Are you saying there's no way for a company to change plans during production for ANY reason?
  3. Is it really a lie if things change because of unexpected developments?
  4. that is not the case <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Actually Akari said the PC version is on track, but the X-Box version is ahead of schedule (meaning it will be done earlier than anticipated). They had the X-Box version's code first so they've had more time to polish it.
  5. Well, they aren't exactly putting a gun to your head........
  6. I don't think that would be financially feasible given the fact they'd have to create PS2 code from scratch. Now if the first KOTOR was on PS2 it wouldn't be a problem.
  7. Hmmm...interesting. I noticed there were some areas on that demo one screen marked "NAR." A hint that Nar Shadda is in the game?
  8. I'm just going to wait until Feburary, which is pretty much what I've been doing. I didn't really think the game was coming out on PC any sooner anyway.......
  9. Your logic is flawed: It takes longer to finish the PC version.
  10. Hmmm....you seem to be overeager for the X-Box version to be held back by the PC version, like you want it to be...."your way."
  11. How's it unfair on PC gamers exactly? They get the game ANYWAY in February....it's not like waiting 2 months is going to hurt them.
  12. LOL, you think I'm an X-Box gamer? No I'm waiting for the PC version. But I'm not really frustrated; after all Feb. 2005 was the original date stated......
  13. They should apologize for choosing to release the X-Box version when it's ready and not wait until the PC version is ready? Don't you think that would be unfair to X-Box consumers?
  14. ROFLMAO Victory of consumer rights? More like victory of spoiled PC gamers. So you want the X-Box version to sit in a warehouse for 2 months until the PC version is finished, eh? Yeah, it's crystal clear what's really going on here......
  15. Hmmm...and where exactly is this binding contract that Lucasarts signed in blood that 100% "promises" simultaneous release dates? And what makes you so sure they always "knew" it wasn't going to be happen? Did it ever occur to you that *gasp* they recently determined the X-Box was ahead of schedule and simply pushed it forward?
  16. Yep. Too bad people consider any hint of a release date by the publisher as a binding contract signed in blood.
  17. Hope of what? Having the game on PC at Christmas? Sorry, doesn't look like it'll work out that way. They never exactly promised either version would be out in December you know. February WAS the original date. The X-Box version simply will be finished sooner. Oh and most importantly: It's just a game!
  18. And the thread is derailed........
  19. Either way, I don't think the moderators will be too happy about you wanting to "acquire" the game illegally because of a largely childish dispute with LucasArts.
  20. I see Sirus is eager to get banned from the forums. Hopefully the judge won't be too harsh when he's in juvenile court for pirating games.
  21. Legally, right? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hmmm.... *mechanical breathing* I find your desire to pirate this game disturbing. *force chokes Sirus*
  22. Legally, right?
  23. KOTOR wasn't spoiled for me...of course I wasn't at BioWare's forum for most of 2003....
