  1. Highlighting characters in combat and refining spell effects, so they aren't as blinding, is a very good idea. Don't much like the olympic-circles feature of the BGEE, to be honest, but things can certainly improve in that area. It's even harder to fight behind trees, because there's zero visibility.
  2. Got the game from gog.com and it patched fine to 1.04 and works great. No patching problems for me.
  3. I'm sorry, you've described yourself as a power player. If that is to be believed, then go find a game that caters to that, ok? Stop the whining.
  4. I don't put much stock in Metacritic aggregate score for the professional reviews, but the customer reviews are a very good indicator on how the game is. Dragon Age Inquisition has great reviewer scores and a *very* low user score. Reviewers *can* be bought, but the people can't.
  5. I read that review on rpgcodex. Searching for some redeeming thing about it. But it wasn't a review in the end as much as the self entitled rant. Infantile. Boring. Unhelpful. Waste of time. Were there any points of criticism made, is neither here nor there, because such things can be read in an actual review that isn't a nerdrage temper tantrum. The author of that waste of space has clearly cornered the market for soothing cream, because he clearly needs every liquid ounce of high grade rectal soothing cream, just for himself. The article is a spectacle of butthurt made manifest.
