  1. Counter Strike (Half-life) Kung Fu (Max Payne) They Hunger (Half-life) Holowan Plug in (KoTOR)
  2. Dont need much more proof than that that PST is the ultimate spoonfeeder. If your characters have no personality or motivation it's because you dont or cant give them one. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Refer to Ivan's post above.
  3. Uh no. I'd rather play a pregenerated character with his/her own story than a cardboard character with as much personality as a wall. PS:T did it perfectly, you "create" the character by assigning his stats, yet that character has his own motivations, struggles, etc...
  4. What are your PC specs?
  5. 9800 Pro Catalyst 5.1 No crashes, or any apparent bugs. The only problem I have is with the brightness. I set the brightnes slider to the desired level. But when I quit, my desktop stays at that brightness which is too bright, I have o go to advanced properties and then the color tab and that's when the desktop goes to the proper brightness level. When I start the game again, it goes back to being very dark, but the brightness slider stays where I left it.
  6. About the dead nations: Dranoel: Dead nations ain't even halfway through the game! So much more to do after. My dream game would be a remake of PS:T with extremely good 3d graphics, I mean so good that every detail from the 2d backgrounds of PS:T is present, and basically the exact script word for word and the same soundtrack... and maybe have the original voice actors voice their entire lines... BUT... make it optional incase it doesn't work out! Also, along with the usual descriptions, you would see the character models animating and doing whatever you're being told they are doing in the script. Of course that's never gonna happen, imagine how much work it would be to do all these animationsa for every single event in the game!!!!
  7. You should definitely play Torment last, because once you do, every other RPG will seem like ****.
  8. Actually, this is their first game. I mean they'd have to be crazy not to support it!
  9. Dear Obsidian, Are you guys working on a patch for this game? Yes or no? Thanks.
  10. The only thing DS1 had going for it were the graphics, which is not saying much... But have you seen the graphics of DS2? They're terrible! This game has got nothing going for it! Unless they have a really super deep plot that's capable of captivating players till the end, which I highly doubt.
  11. Wishful thinking: Obsidian will look into the serious complaints and fix the most glaring bugs/errors for the PC version since they had extra time... *sigh* Not gonna happen unfortunately.
  12. Would it kill you to give it a try and find out for yourself whether it is worth it or not?? I think Planescape Torment is the greatest RPG released so far.
  13. Volourn, all I was saying is based on the IGN review, KOTOR2 seems to bear a little resemblance to PS:T in terms of the issues it deals with, which is always a good thing considering PS:T has the deepest, most interesting plot in any RPG.
  14. Well I just finished reading the IGN review and I'm so god damn happy with the way the story is turning out, like Planescape:Torment, it seems this game deals more with compelling philosophical and social issues as opposed to being mystified by the universe and presenting a tacky generic story. Thank you thank you thank you Obsidian, I hope all your other games will have more mature, serious and interesting plots (like PS:T, you guys need to frame that game's script and learn from it). February can't come soon enough.
