  1. ****, I was thinking Raedric for some reason. My bad. Yeah Kolsc should be a lot easier.
  2. Kolsc was one of the harder encounters. For you to be able to do it at level 4, you would need to both have the 'Animat' summon and quite a few 'Fan of Flame' scrolls. Also make sure to pack some 'Minor Endurance' potions. The fight is really difficult, and expect to fail the first time around, and perhaps forced to start over (if you are running blind) or have a parllel run through on normal PoTD such that you can reload a previous save and try multiple times til you find a strategy you are comfortable with. Always go for the mages first. If you eat all food before an encounter and also chug some 'Sugar' which gives +1 movement speed for 45 seconds, these harder encounters will get a lot easier. Once the Mages have been brought down, prioritize either Archers or Priests. Once they are brought down try to clump everyone infront of you and burst them down with the fan of flame. Unless you manage to do that prior to the archers, in which it is a bonus to burst them all down.
  3. You are right, the wound will all go for Torments Reach Spam. Problem was that I never thought it through, and just kind of went with Turning Wheel as dump. If I were to run a Monk again, I would probably go for Clarity of Agony, though the low intellect will make the duration 6.3 seconds, which is obviously not ideal, unless for smaller fights like Xaurips or Vithraks. To address the issue, you could probably lower Dexterity by 2, (I dislike low Dexterity), and lower Constitution by 3 which would allow for 8 Intellect; massively improving the duration of buffs and hostile effects towards an enemy (like the Gaze of Adragan petrify).
  4. I think a petrify nerf will hurt many classes ability to solo the final battle. However, from the video you may see that the item slots were all taken up by figurines, which allow to 'zip' up the battle and control the movement of the enemy. I misplayed the final bit, causing me to use up all of them. I haven't tried, and can't tell for sure (will do when I have the time, or if anyone else can confirm), but you may be able to approach the whole fight in a different perspective and use a different strategy. Investing 5 points into lore will allow to use Scroll of Paralysis (-40 deflection, -40 reflex, and -100 dexterity). This could be coupled with War Paint and Potion of Eldritch Aim to overcome his high will attribute. Of course you may have to change the stat distribution to buff Intellect and as such increase the Paralyse duration. Then to finish him off, you use the Shade summons.
  5. Worth mentioning that Two Weapon Style talent also apply to fists, personally tested it.
  6. I really enjoyed the Monk run, but the problem is that they suffer from accuracy loss just as bad as rangers do, and their damage really takes a hit as a result. Fatigue is something that can destroy a Monk's ability to duel, so make sure to stay well rested during your run. Also because you depend on taking damage to deal damage, fatigue will creep up on you much quicker, so make sure to invest well in Athletics
  7. Not really that hard. A cipher is great at dominating enemies. Retaliation barbarian with OSA can do it as well, by strategic placement. EDIT: IndiraLightfoot: you are absolutely right, it can be done with a Barb. You have to place yourself around the souther pillar next to the Axe Judge, along the way you will drag the other three, making your retaliation carnage and spread to Thaos.
  8. The increased stealth was not really needed for me, as by the end I was able to deal with any encounter. Also having Helmet of Darksee (arguably the best headgear for this setup) allows me to use Finreah's Grace, which compensates for the low base dexterity.
  9. Woops, its because my forum theme is set to IP.Board, so it must have changed that automatically for me. EDIT: Fixed the document, cheers for pointing out
  10. I can assure you that endless paths 1-14 would be a breeze on the build above. Sorry must of missed hovering over the spears. They are Superb (Had to kill Sky Dragon), with Vessel Slaying and Burning Lash enchantments. I did all side quests, including all bounties; some of which brought me very close to wiping. I found Shod-in-Faith boots more than enough to keep me up, most of the fights; also on solo, you should be able to invest in Endurance Potions at all time (as really there is nothing else to spend the gold on). EDIT: Removed previous quotes for readability Ok, give me some tips how would you fight with monk against petrify crystal spiders or perma-CC Vithracks? Once you are petrify against spiders- you are mostly insta-gibbed. If you could try it with your monk (endless paths)- that be great to see some footage and tips for it. There is very few materials around here about PotD Endless Paths solo that such information is worth gold Ow. And tell me you starting stat distribution points please. I know you dumped INT. I will jump on and try Endless Paths as soon as I have the ability to play. I can tell you that Vithraks are a huge pain, and dealing with them was not easy, though I don't remember having too much difficulties with Crystal Spiders. I have put up a post of my completion, with video and complete guide / strategies, make sure too check it out
  11. Managed to complete the game on TCS yesterday, with all Side Quests (Apart from Endless paths of Od Nua). Video of Final Battle: https://youtu.be/Nkf5NPMe0vw EDIT: The last song was causing the video to be blocked in Canada and some other countries. Sorry for the inconvenience, as I have had to remove the last song, it should only effect the ending however. Character Creation: I chose to go for the Pale Elf, as the racial Elemental Endurance is great (+ 10 Burn/Free DR). And you are still able to wear helmets, Helmet of Darksee which gives +2 Perception is too good to give up, and you can make up for the lack of Silver Tide (Moon Racial) by using the Shod-in-Faith boots. Attributes: Might: 18 Constitution: 18 Dexterity: 11 Perception: 10 Intellect: 3 Resolve: 18 Abilities (By Level): 1. Torments Reach 2. Lesser Wounds 3. Turning Wheel 5. Long Stride 7. Duality of Mortal Presence 9. Crucible of Suffering 11. Enervating Blows Talents (By Level): 4. Two Weapon Style 6. Peasant Weapon Proficiency 8. Fast Runner 10. Vulnerable Attacks 12. Deep Pockets Strategies: Fast runner and Long Stride was a life saver, and a huge part of my strategy. The two (coupled with sugar early on) allows for the Monk to reach the backline and assassinate the Mages/Archers within seconds, while the enemy Fighters are busy dealing with your summons. The monk lacks abilities / talents that allows for +Accuracy, so rest whenever you can, and make sure to carry Potion of Eldritch Aim for harder encounters or War Paint. Positioning is key. Use corners, doorways, and narrow paths to your advantage. As this allows you to deal with enemies one by one, while still able to damage the backline with Torments Reach. I always picked the easy way out for quests, and killed only when needed to. The Domenel Family has great side quests, that are not as hard as the others, and takes less time to finish. Make sure that you select all Passive buffs from quest rewards, this includes Gift from the Machine from atop of Heritage Hill Tower. Before heading into a fight, make sure to look up your enemy. If you have previously finished the game on a different party or difficulty, switch over and check your Bestiary, and if not, you can use this complete bestiary here. For Caed Nua, I brought 3 Potions of Minor Endurance, and 3 scrolls of Fan of Flames, 1 which was used to clear the exterior, and 2 for the Main Hall (while cornering myself in the bottom left corner (as may be seen here). I did this at level 4. Vithracks are complete pain to deal with. (Encountering them during the Sserkal bounty, in Pearlwood Bluff). Make sure to carry Potion of Major Recovery and have your summons up. You want to let your summons flank and attack them, while you tank. Dealing with them one by one is also essential, as you do not want to get chain stunned. Vithraks are not strong towards any particular damage type, using offensive type of scrolls will help tremendously. The Sky Dragon was the hardest thing I ever done (that and some other close quarter bounties). Make sure to place a Gaze of Adragan trap before the encounter, and stack up on all food and resting boons. Make a rush towards the left area as soon as fight starts, and deal with the Hatchling first; once killed, use any figure to tank and make sure to make a run for when she is about to use Flame Breath (Zooming out may help, as this will allow you to see what ability is being used next on top of her head). Make sure to stand on the side, as to not get hit by the tail whip ability, and have Potion of Major Endurance and Potion of Major Recovery (For the annoying Aura) at hand, also if you got the +2 Item Slot from Deep Pockets, throw in a couple of War Paint. As for the final boss; It was pointed out to me on another thread that I missed to show the weapons used. The enchantments were Superb, Burning Lash and Vessel Slaying (for the double Judges). Finally, I would like to thank and credit Reddit user /u/PapaMalle, as most of the above was inspired by him.

  13. You mentioned that you soloed PotD as Monk, Paladin and Wizard. Considering all games content, including Endless Paths 1-15 and bounties- which of those 3 classes you found to be best? Which you had easiest/smoothest solo? And if you can please share your monk stat distribution. Thank you! I just managed to beat Triple Crown Solo on Monk. I am planning to make a guide later on, but for now; here is the video (which shows stat distribution, items, and abilities/talents). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nkf5NPMe0vw
  14. For solo, I personally prefer the Pale Elf for the DR, and ability to wear helmets (The Darksee is amazing).
  15. Inspired me to make a wizard solo. Nice one. Anything you would consider doing differently? Did you complete all the side quest? You mention the Adra Dragon, did you kill her or side with her?
  16. I liked the idea of a "parallel" run, yet thought I wouldn't require it; as I have finished the game twice already, once on full party normal, and second on hard monk solo. I think I was just not expecting the high deflection and will (reduced duration of harmful spells) on PoTD. I completely missed that. Something to bring for next encounter; yet I don't want to go up there until I am sure I can kill him.
  17. My build was as follow: 1. Torments Reach 2. Lesser Wounds 3. Turning Wheel 4. Two Weapon Style 5. Long Stride 6. Peasant Weapon Proficiency 7. Duality of Mortal Presence 8. Fast Runner 9. Crucible of Suffering 10. Vulnerable Attack 11. Enervating Blows 12. Deep Pockets Problem is, I miss a lot of my hits, even with Eldritch Aim and War Paint chugged down. I seem to have 0 problems with any other encounter.
  18. How the hell do I defeat Sky Dragon on TCS Monk? Only time I save scummed, because I was not expecting him to hit that hard, while more than 70% of my hits miss after chugging down Potion of Eldritch Aim. Tried to set up a Gaze of Adragan Trap before the battle start, but my damage was not enough to kill him.
  19. ^ I have no idea where to go after level 3. Every encounter just insta gibbs me. And only available quest is Caed Nua, good like fighting a horde of 4 phantoms and 3 shades with a one handed shield rogue.
  20. I disagree, the level 9 binding roots is great for abuse. I also prefer the Antelopes with the higher amount of deflection, this coupled with the Defensive Bond worked wonders for me.
  21. I managed to run a setup of 5 rangers and a cipher on hard. You have to position one of your pet companions to run up on his left side, while the rest of the party runs away. This will allow for time to deal with the trash mobs and allow the party to survive, by not being breathed on. As for the dragon, you can keep him perma-rooted. With lowered defenses, the cipher can cast petrify and disintegrate, while the rest howl arrows of death. Of course wounding shot can also be stacked on him. Then you can keep the rest of your pets as a fail safe, if you miss the rooting or charm, just let the pet run up and keep him busy, buying you time.
  22. All unique weapons have been gathered and compiled under a single page on the wiki. You can find the page here. Please help contribute to the page, as some of the data is still lacking or missing proper description / location and where it could be found. I am simply spreading the word around, all credit goes to Reddit user fedexist
