    I too find the effort to reward ratio lacking. Pretty much the only reason I sleep there is because I am out of camping supplies when delving below.

    The game anticipates this and there is another location you can take Eder's McGuffin.

    I've been using the prone seal often. It's a great spell for that low of a level that is still really useful later in the game.
