Hi, I am playing an assasing/cipher with deadly deadfire mod installed. I am struggling with xp and difficulty at the moment (which is good :D). At the moment, managing a proper backstab is very hard, since most of the enemies are outleveling me. I was thinking about something that could help with that a bit. What came to my mind that it would be nice to have a built in "firecracker" ability. Like 2-3 uses per rest or something like that. If anybody would be able to do it, or provide me some directions how to make a custom ability, that would be nice.

[Request] Open slots for pets

Hi, It is working, thanks Anyway, I am not much of an achievements guy, but if possible I would rather like to have them. Is it something that can me mod easily? -
is PotD tuned yet?

Obsidian, can you at least acknowledge that POTD hasn't been tuned for the whole game? -
Hi, I have a problem with the UI. On the character screen, class information seems like the window wasn't scrolled max to the top of the screen, but it is. Additionally, there is no highlighted information about your abilities like agility and perception. Also, the summary of the current value of your ability is missing when I move my cursor on it.

Hi, I have modified description to credit Zap. Thanks for the ideas. To be honest I didn't play much, since I was waiting for POTD to be corrected. I will try to play some more now with deadly deadfire + baldur scaling pig buddy. I will see how it goes and maybe then create some new versions for it. -

Ok I found something about POTD here (around 30 minute). https://www.twitch.tv/videos/278639366 They specifically said that they are waiting for reports from users for areas that difficulty is not right on POTD and that they can take a look at it. This doesn't seem like they are actively working on POTD adjustments at the moment... -

I am wondering if there were any indications from Obsidian that they are still working on POTD? -

Hi, So, here is the mod I was thinking about when creating this topic: https://www.nexusmods.com/pillarsofeternity2/mods/130/?tab=description Three versions available: 25, 50 and 75% price reduction. -

Hi, Thanks for the update, but isn't the mod actually making it easier? I will try to make the modification on my own now, thanks for guiding me where are those values. -

Thx for input on this. I see many reports that after 30-50% of the game, you are already swimming in gold. What I am after, it to make our selling prices worse, to make economy harder. As I didn't see any mod like this yet, thought it might be a good addition to other difficulty mods out there. I was thinking about 3 versions of the mod with 25, 50, 75 price reductions. -
Hi, I was just thinking about the economy mod. Anybody knows if there is some kind of price multiplayer that affects all selling items?

Hi, What I would really see is to have the possibility to make tooltip sticky. Preferably toggle on key. This way I could check buff/debuffs directly there. It would be great QOL change for me. Since, it was available in Tyranny, which is on the same engine, there should be no technical stopper for that. Anybody knows if this is possible? Somewhere specific to look for it?

I think you guys went to far making fights harder D:
fxluk replied to Cylion's question in Patch Beta Bugs and Support
Definitely not to hard. I did drake with 4 party members at lvl 4. Of course I died 2-3 times, but that should be quite normal on POTD. If you cannot do it it doesn't mean that Obsidian should go and make it easier for everybody. If you would like to know the pain of "impossible" fight, go for White March Ondra boss fight at monastery with scaled path on lvl 14 max. That was a frustrating experience Bottom line, use everything that can raise your chances of winning: additional companions, food, drugs, traps, seals, choose another spells, reposition, stealth, bombs. Look at immunities/resistances, which defense is the lowest for a particular enemy and so on. Die couple of times, know your enemy and change the tactics. For me this is a point of POTD that you should be forced to use every possible way to win through some harder fights. -
Hi, I think I heard or read that it will be possible to "lock" the target somehow. For me, it would be very useful to see actual description of the buffs and debuffs of an enemy. At the moment enemy's tooltip is disappering as soon as I go away with the mouse cursor. Is it possible at the moment? Didn't see any key binding for that so I presume it isn't. Anybody knows if this is something to be implemented in the future? For me it would be great QOL change.

Reducing XP with IE mod
fxluk replied to fxluk's topic in Pillars of Eternity: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
I am already playing on POTD like you suggested. I decided that for a first run I will just go with standard xp pool and will upscale the content if needed. Maybe someday when I will play it again, I will go for xp reduction. Anyway, thanks for help
