Things you wish your character would say
Sikon replied to Shadowstrider's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Uh-huh. There are plenty of cliche characters in KOTOR I, but Bastila is a deep character and certainly not a damsel in distress. She's more of the Leia type. Exile (to Mandalore): Come on, Candy, I know you want to show me your face. You may act all rough and mean, but you're just a big softie inside. Exile (to Visas): [Force Persuade] You want to wear the dancer's outfit. -
What's the deal with Bastila?
Sikon replied to Luke Skywhacker's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Calax, you can lost Bastila on the Star Forge regardless of your gender. The only thing is, it's harder to save her as a female because you can't say you love her. But it's not impossible. And she is "resurrected" anyway even if you are forced to kill her, making the official position quite clear. -
What's the deal with Bastila?
Sikon replied to Luke Skywhacker's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Oh come on, this is only a rumor, and perhaps a false one. After all, even if you kill Bastila on the Star Forge, she appears in the final cutscene anyway. The thing is, there is no reason for Bastila to care much about a female Revan. -

Vrook: It is a punishment reserved for only a few - and only when necessary, but we have the power to cut you off from the Force, and it must be done. Exile: I submit to this punishment. Kreia (entering): So you will do nothing? Apathy is death. Worse than death, because at least a rotting corpse feeds the beasts and insects. Vrook: Apathy is death. Kavar: Apathy is death. Zez-Kai Ell: Apathy is death. [All four become hostile] -
What's the deal with Bastila?
Sikon replied to Luke Skywhacker's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I wonder why everyone misspells Bastila's name, even some developers. -
Mandalore? Ranged? I thought low dexterity makes him pretty useless as a ranged fighter. And I never take him except when I'm forced to, because I hate it that he cannot be converted into a Jedi and I cannot change his armor. ROFL :D. Actually, a comic series would be a good and implementable idea, especially if using in-game graphics (like the Fear the Physics series for Half-Life 2).

Since I usually play a female Exile, I agree with the above with a small change: Disciple/Visas/Mira. That was the team I sent to the Sith camp on Dxun. Like Handmaiden, Disciple has a lot of health, but as a Consular, he has more Force points. Since he's very simple to convert to a Jedi, you can regulate the health/Force balance by giving him a certain amount of Soldier levels before the Force training.

Exile: I don't need you in my party, Disciple! You are so lame a character that you don't even have a name! Disciple: I do, but only a male Exile is worthy of hearing it. The question is, do you? Exile: Obviously! My name is... Disciple: No, I meant a canonical one. I have one, for instance, and even your predecessor, your precious clich -

Question about Revan and the first Atton convo
Sikon replied to Xan433's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
You're not required to be DS, only Revan. I got that cutscene with a LS character. -
Which Jedi Enclave design is better?

The discussion obviously shows that it's not "of course" and there is need for a discussion. -
Question about Revan and the first Atton convo
Sikon replied to Xan433's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
The only case in which Bastila does not appear anywhere is light side female Revan, for no apparent reason. By the way, I like the way the choice is implemented. Revan's story depends of what you tell Atton. Some sort of consensus reality, one would think - if enough people believe in something, then it's real and pops into being. (No, I'm not going to discuss similarities between Exile and Nameless One...) -
Why the Masters didn't mention Kreia in K2?
Sikon replied to Masta Revan's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Jediphile, since the Atris-Kreia conversation happens before that ambiguous "Kreia, her name is not" scene, it's safe to assume that Atris deduced who Kreia was speaking about. And let the cut content be where it belongs to - the history's trash bin, making no impact on official canon. (Technically, the TSLRP will never be canon, only the official ending will be.) Why not just ask Obsidian about their official opinion on the Kreia-Kae issue? -

Sikon replied to Shadowstrider's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Kreia: What does the player see? Only what I allow them to see. Exile: *sobs* But I really want the cut ending! Especially the Atton versus Sion fight, it's so cool! Kreia: This is what you players always are. So arrogant, so uncaring. The Force binds all things - sometimes even a small change in the game design can have drastic consequences. To walk such a great path, from Peragus and to Malachor, and still want to see what you cannot comprehend - not caring about the audience, about the general subtlety of the plot, and forgetting that sometimes {Gameplay Programmer: pronounced in the same manner as "some time" in the rebuilt Enclave}, not seeing something has a deeper impact than actually perceiving it. And in the end, as the darkness consumes me, you have learned nothing. -
Mandalore quests and the Light Side
Sikon replied to Luke Skywhacker's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I assume it's of the "RGN, do you understand that not getting Dark Side points from something doesn't automatically make it moral?" kind? Because otherwise, I don't see the problem, the quests are all neutral except rescuing Kumus. -

[You have gained a new Force power: Force Exchange. Using it, you can instantaneously exchange items with your party members, transporting them through time and across planets if necessary - for example, give Kreia the lightsaber of Freedon Nadd that your comrades have yet to retrieve from the tomb.] Kreia: Forget the developers, I can carry a double-bladed lightsaber in one hand. Why, Darth Maul did. -
Which Jedi Enclave design is better?
Sikon replied to Sikon's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
A pile of rubble only blocks the path to the landing pad where the Ebon Hawk was in the first game, whoch doesn't need any rebuilding, only cleaning. -

Which Jedi Enclave design is better?
Sikon replied to Sikon's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I'm referring to the Enclave itself. As a building. Not to the courtyard, not to the sublevel, not to the surroundings. -
Which Jedi Enclave design is better?
Sikon replied to Sikon's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
The ground level, not the sublevel. They are not exactly the same. Even the exterior is different: http://starwars.wikicities.com/wiki/Image:Jedienclave.jpg http://starwars.wikicities.com/wiki/Image:...ilt_enclave.jpg And differences in the interior are more significant. Previously, the Council hall was covered by a rather low ceiling, now it's under the open sky. -
Why the Masters didn't mention Kreia in K2?
Sikon replied to Masta Revan's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I think yes, Atris referred to Darth Traya. It's not a title, it's a name, only that it's a Sith name. Basically, Atris wants to say that Kreia had once again fallen to the Dark Side, so her name was no longer Kreia, but Darth Traya. And should I remind you that this thread is named "Why the Masters didn't mention Kreia in K2?" and is not intended for the Kreia-Kae thing discussion? We have another thread for that. -
Yep, another pointless poll...

Things you wish your character would say
Sikon replied to Shadowstrider's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
(or maybe) Kreia: What other? I love this phrase. :D Let me see... Exile (crying over Atris' sholder): And the Sith... are pursuing me... thinking I'm, like... the last Jedi... Atris: Have they fallen so far? I am the last Jedi, not you. Vrook, Kavar and Zez-Kai Ell: But you're supposed to fall to the Dark Side! So when you finally do, perhaps it will make us the last Jedi. Bastila: Well, actually... -
I don't think it will be explained in KOTOR III - it was only a plot device to remove overpowered LS characters from the Republic space. But remember that Revan and Exile are natural leaders, particularly skilled in conversion. So they probably disrupted the True Sith, making some of them join their side and turn against the others... Another one? Bold words, and I would like to have a list of other inconsistencies. This one, as I explained, isn't an inconsistency.

Master Vrook. Shien is a defensive form used to deflect blaster bolts. The period of the movies, of course. She had just arrived with the Republic fleet. She wasn't on Telos when Kreia lied to Tobin about the Jedi, and the Exile didn't know about her presence. (Actually, she should have been on the Sojourn and not Telos itself, as well as Carth, so the Exile did not lie to Nihilus.) Revan went to the Unknown Regions to face the True Sith (the species).
